REMEMBER TO VOTE ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6!!

  1. My pleasure to vote for Mary Pat. The blogs have been so quiet about this election, I was beginning to wonder.

  2. Poorly written article in the Advertiser attempting to compare candidates and a feeble attempt to claim Public Service vs. Politics.

Once again, politics has reared its ugly head and as usual, Republicans sling some mud attempting to discredit their opponent, alah Cristo/Defruscio/Crist/MULVEY style. Too bad they chose that path.

Politics has very little to do with this election - excepting that each candidate must run underneath a political party.
Why was the 1st paragraph so necessary? It was a fine support article without that paragraph. Most people would recognize it as nothing but simply a letter of support for a friend regardless of political affiliation. Unfortunately, candidate Mulvey has chosen the ugly, under-handed path.
I would have much rather not read any article than one laden with political untruths and innuendo. Too bad Jude has allowed her nasty side to be unearthed.

  3. Mary Pat is my choice...sweet woman...good family ties.

It's too bad Jude had to show that side of her. People have told me she was a lovely woman...obviously not. Probably turned some people against her all by herself.

Unless there's a change in Town Republican hierarchy there will never be any less b-s and mud slinging.
Defruscio must go ! Nothing will ever change until the clowns are dismissed.

  5. I certainly don't endorse her, but I'll give Jude the benefit of the doubt.

Let's look at the more likely culprit ... Sean the Yawn.

  6. Don't think Defruscio even endorses Mulvey he has a Donnelly sign on his business. Let's not blame him this time. Can't believe a judge canidate would allow signs to be put all over without getting permission! The building department will busy tomorrow!

    1. If you read the Times Union article, it says right in there, the people that Jenkins is trying to steal the land from have been paying the taxes on it for years, owned it prior to the Bergmann clan moving next door in 1971.
Jenkins is now a "squatter" attempting a larceny from retired people.
Looks real good on your military, ex-marine persona huh Dwight !?
Your a worthless piece of garbage and should be thrown out of court like the self infatuated delusional moron you are.

  17. SHUT THE FRONT DOOR !!!! Dwight is actually not the patron saint he wants everyone to believe he is ? Blasphemy !!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I'd love to hear Dwight spin the story about the Bergmanns trying to take someone elses property. If you're not paying taxes on land, you don't own it. Can anyone imagine if the McCabes, Harts, O'Briens or Malones were doing this?
Dwight would be all over them like flies on $hit.

Ray Mooney and Don Johnson would be making all kinds of accusations and demanding an investigation. But, alas, this is their buddy Dwight, so it's all OK.

Scumbag has a new definition in my dictionary - it's "see Jenkins, Bergmann family behavior"; enough said about that familys character and integrity.

Dwight, quote the Bible, show us a verse where stealing is ok.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Oh Gadfly....where are you to attempt to defend this one?? Carpetbagger ?? Nothing - ? Anyone ..??
And accordingly and justly, Dwight will be appropriately named "squatter" !

    ReplyDelete
  20. I thought Dwight Jenkins was a decent and honest man even though I often disagreed with his opinion on many issues. If Dwights' family (he's married to a Bergmann) and the Bergmann clan want that property - make a fair offer to buy it. If not successful buying it, oh well.... move on.

Apparently it's more fun to harass and intimidate your senior neighbors and try to take the land from them, hoping the rightful owners can't afford to fight off the Bergmann money. The Bergmanns' all share the property and are probably sharing the legal costs, while the rightful owners are fighting this on their own. I hope some of the people who know the rightful owners step up and do some fundraising for the Spallanes - I'll be glad to attend.

Dwight, I was obviously wrong about you and many others were right. You only care about doing the right thing when it suits you.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Conservative but fair...November 05, 2012 2:15 PM

J.C. - I appreciate your sentiment about the behavior of the Gadflys if McCabes, Harts, Malones or O'Briens were trying to steal their neighbors property.

The Gadflys would be irate. Only problem for Dwight and Crew is the Harts' buy property they are interested in, they do not try to steal it. The Harts' come up with a use for the property and develop it, creating jobs and income for the town.

Dwight and family want additional property to play on. Dwight...not satisfied with what you have...get a job and buy more...don'ty try to take land away from someone who bought and paid for it.

    Dwight...church may forgive you....I won't.

  31. I find it hard to believe that he didn't know what district he votes in. This must have happened at the Tabernacle on 3rd Ave, since that is where his father would vote. Is there some reason Jr. would think his polling place changed? I would be interested to know if his father ever voted the other night, or if maybe he is out of town. If that is the case, this is an obvious case of attempting voter fraud. Jr. thought nobody would notice or call him on the fact that he was attempting to vote in his fathers spot. This would be a clear attempt at voter fraud, by an elected official, which should be followed up on if true. Or, maybe he is just an idiot.

His obsession with thinking that Thompsons Hill is his piece of East Greenbush is well documented. His continuous objection to the FEDEX operation, his utter foolish complaints about the proposed development off Thompson Hill, all because he thinks no one should be near his family compound.

Gadfly and Prays spew nothing positive and only look to spread vicious attacks against elected officials. I believe that would be called hypocrisy in many peoples book.
The article regarding the Bergmann clan and Jenkins affiliation actually appeals to many East Greenbush taxpayers due to the constant onslaught of nasty, vicious articles written by Dwight over the past few years. If nothing, it proves Dwight is just as "human" as those he points a finger at daily !

Unfortunately for you, the Town Board IS taking care of Town affairs and just because you don't agree with the agenda or how its accomplished - TOO BAD ! Your quote below is so directly attributed to you three complainers

"I am reminded every time I attend a meeting, exchange an e-mail or listen to our Town Board of this quote originally made about Henry Kissenger, later referred to Steve Jobs and now, it seems, perfectly appropriate to our Town Board: “They lie because it is their very nature to lie.”

Unfortunately for them, as many of us thought, there is no startling revelations and NO ONE is getting arrested and going to jail. 55. I'm not one of those people who sees conspiracies everywhere he looks but you cannot read that audit report and think everything is alright. If criminality is the only standard by which you evaluate how the town is doing that says a lot about what you will accept without question. This isn't a partisan issue and I have no interest in hurting anyone or settling scores but we need to do better. Rather than accuse people of misdeeds or speculate about what punishments are in order, we need to come up with an effective strategy to improve our town's finances. No member of the town board is an expert in municipal finance, nor should they be, but if we came together we could figure this out. It's not right to levy the high taxes we pay unless every penny we give to our town government is fully accounted for and well spent. The most troubling part of this audit is that we can't tell if the money has been well spent because it has not been properly accounted for. This is a fixable problem and it should be our highest priority to fix it.

Totally agree Jack , this IS a fixable problem. If the others would stop pointing the finger at a select few simply because they don't like them, there wouldn't be the awful divide and most importantly , bi-partisan cooperation would be possible.
I cannot blame the current board from looking the other way in light of the unlawful interference perpetrated by the select few gadflys.
The intentional and well documented meddling and antics by Don Johnson, Suzanne Airaido, Ann Taylor and Dwight Jenkins was not only un-necessary but border line unlawful. Until the likes of that group are placed under control, there will NEVER be cooperation - ever. Donnie likes to blame TALKS for everything that ever went wrong with mankind, yet he conveniently forgets that his foul mouth and temper were responsible for the starting of this very blog three years ago!
In response , Cristo and crew needed the Times Useless, and at least four other blogs to ram their tainted message down peoples throat. Talks stands proud to offer people a chance to voice their opposition to the foolish banter of the Gadfliers and former reformers/tea totalers.
Once again - Jack I believe your clearly correct. No felony level crimes were commited and contrary to the Mooney/Jenkins group, the results were nothing less than expected and most of us already knew of what was coming. The ground breaking revelations that Johnson so desperately tried to have occur simply are not there. Too bad Don - you blew your temper over nothing because your temper rules your very small little world !

Even the County Republicans have realized that he's a total scam artist.

Property owner is attempting to remedy the situation- so why all your ridiculous "antics and mischief" and carrying on?? Still holding that grudge huh?

Same goes for the Supervisor, they disliked McCabe; now they're following suit with Langley.
They must just get their jollies by being so negative and hateful. People are that way for all of their lives. You know it as well as I do.
Pray for these morons for they don't know what happiness and feeling good about yourself is all about!

Ole Donnie boy really must get his jollies by being negative and nasty - because he hasn't changed his tune for the past 5-6 years. He has been the single most negative individual on any blog, here and elsewhere. I can't imagine going thru each day , living like that.

Ole Donnie boy is nothing but a nasty, mean, decrepit, old codger who owes the Town thousands of dollars. He tries so very hard to get any and all of us to forget that he is in debt to the Town.
Note to Fruitfly #1: you want to talk about people paying back ANY monies- start by writing a check made out to the "Town of East Greenbush " for incurred legal fees defending your baseless and ridiculous lawsuit.

The ball is in the Town Attorney's court, and as I have stated before on this blog, if he doesn't know what to do - I'm not going to tell him. (Hint....It's more like XEROX expenses.)

PS....I haven't stolen anything belonging to the Town or unlawfully misappropriated anything. This is not the case with regard to the stipends and the other "benefits" cited by the State Comptroller.

  98. Quote from "John" over on the T-U blog answering Dwit the Land thief:

    "Dwight;
News bulletin for you; Most of those things were done in the past by past administrations and have been remedied or are being worked on!!!
Stipends – Done for 3 yrs
Scrap – Done, money collected 2 yrs ago.
    Audit – Done
    Retirement incentives – Done
    Sewer- being worked on.
Ethic Code – There is one in place and they are working on another.
There is a new board now, and although you may not agree with them all the time, it’s their job to run the town. Let them do it.

Clearly put and detailed with no stretching of the facts!

Johnson , Jenkins, and Mooney would be wise to learn that #1 - they are pissing off more people every time they open their mouth.
#2- no one really cares about anything except if Don is ever going to pay the Town the legal expenses he owes, or if Dwight is going to continue to steal those peoples land.

Other than that - Don is obviously obsessed with his thesaurus and the need to assert his worthless opinion on everyone.

    1. Millie, why bother to even blog? Blogging is a backstabbing way of not signing your name and being a man, or woman? The Supervisor's door is always open; make an appointment to see him. You'll just continue to blog, disagree with the world and truthfully no one even cares what your thoughts are. Rick McCabe is a good man who gave that job his all; whether you liked personally doesn't matter; now almost a year later your doing the same to Keith Langley. Can you do better yourself, if so get the nod from a party in 3 years and run; its so simple. You've got nothing to lose; spineless is who you are. Get up off your butt and go down to the mission house and serve some soup. Thats too strenuous! Keep bitching cause these politicians are laughing at you morons.

  105. I find it sad and disturbing that the trio of Ray, Don & Dwight find it necessary to attack Ed Gilbert for expressing his feelings on what is being accomplished by the town board. Ray has gone so far as to ridicule Ed for losing 2 elections. Ed had the courage to run for those elected positions knowing he wa a big underdog, yet found it within himself to give it all all he had.

Ed, to his credit, has decided to be a positive influence and volunteer his time and energy to help the administration make decisions beneficial to all of us residents.

Ray, Don & Dwight - is it OK if Ed prefers to see the glass half full instead of half empty? Try giving credit for the positive changes going on instead of constantly bringing up the past.

If you guys are so unhappy, take a page out of Ed's book - find the courage and run for the board. See what the voters think.

    1. Joe, I agree with your sentiments, however, no one really thinks that Ray would come out of the shadows and run for anything. Ray likes to have his cake & eat it too. It's easy to take potshots at elected officials and their supporters. It's not so easy putting yourself in the position of being criticized. We all know you can't make everyone happy all of the time. It seems with Ray, he is only happy when he's finding fault with others.
