HAPPY HALLOWEEN AND ...

  1. I just saw the funniest thing. I was on LinkedIn and came across Larry Lenartz's business profile. After the initial shock of seeing that he finally had some type of employment, I saw that he spelled part of his job title wrong. I am dead serious, look up his profile. He spelled "Manager" incorrectly. He's a smarty alright.

    1. He changed his profile to remove the word manager instead of trying to figure out how to spell it correctly.

  2. Priceless. Now Ed Gilbert is wondering out loud about which candidate gets his vote. Really? C'mon Ed, the whole town knows you are Langley's lap dog. The real question is what the HESC will do when asked by the Inspector General to investigate your computer usage from their equipment during work hours. Will they say, "OK, it's fine that Ed abuses taxpayer money" or will they give you a reprimand? We'll find out soon. It will probably make the newspapers, too!

    1. When will people finally get it that Langley spokesman Ed Gilbert is a huge part of the problem! Get rid of Langley and get rid of Gilbert, too. Kill two birds with one stone. It's a total no brainer!

  3. Oh dear, DJ has officially lost it. He posted a creepy obsessed love letter to Jack on his blog. I guess he's outed himself.

    1. Jack has one HUGE smear on his campaign - DON JOHNSON.

Jack, Tom and Tina will actually lose votes because of Don and Suzanne ! That is a fact !

  4. Can you imagine what it would be like if that group ever did get into office? Have you ever seen a more self righteous, holier than thou, smug, bunch of jerks? I gotta tell ya, I'm with Dave all the way, but I always thought Jack and his group were a decent bunch. I'm now rethinking that.

    1. EG1st is NOT who they purport to be....they are and have been accused of deleting employees,- ( cristo - esq....) and think that this facade of "hiring the most qualified" is pacifying those of us who have been around, just simply isn't cutting it.

Anthony Corellis will return under EG1st - guaranteed....and Jack , if elected, will face a daily dose of what he deserves for putting Corellis back in the office he has ruined.

Grant - nice guy but not a clue what he's getting into.

The best bet is the experienced team of VanWormer and Stenson.

They've been there - done that.
Campaigning outside a church is not only desperate - but immoral ! Radical is the word that comes to mind when I think about EG1st - certainly not people I want making decisions on my behalf !

    2. Just because someone wrote something, doesn't make it true.

  6. Just because DJ is an epic stain who spews excrement from his piehole, there is no reason to bash the EG1st candidates. I highly doubt they promised anything to Corellis. I do think campaigning at a church is pretty effed up though. And don't forget, these blogs have no impact on voters. The only people who read these things are already the most committed people to their candidates. It's entertainment.

    1. For the life of me I have no idea what you mean by campaigning outside of church. I guess with anonymous blogging you can just make stuff up and hope people believe it. There was NO campaigning outside of any church.

On the bright side, I wish Dave, Pete and Andrea good luck today and pledge my support to whoever wins. The campaign is over, by tonight the results will be in, and then it will be time to move forward together. The most important thing is to get out and vote.

Thanks to Talks for posting my comments. This blog played fair in this election season and I enjoyed reading it, even when it was critical of me or EG First. We did our best and hope for the best today.

    2. That's good to hear. Not sure where it came from either. But I stand by my comment that "I do think campaigning at a church is pretty effed up..." (I didn't accept the assertion that EG1st actually did such a thing). I wouldn't think any candidate would do it. But I do think it's a pretty "effed up" thing to do. Good luck, if Dems don't win then I am certainly pulling for EG1st ahead of Langley's gang.

    3. Jack,

Best of luck to you, Tom and Tina. I agree with you - we have to work with whomever is in office next year.

I've said all along, it's not about the candidates, it's about moving East Greenbush forward.

Let's hope the Town is the true winner today!

    4. Jack, your supporters were most assuredly handing out your campaign literature outside Holy Spirit Church this past Sunday.

      That is exactly what happened.

  8. Weren't they complaining about the Reps putting signs on vacant property? Wow! I just came across rte 4, EG1st signs are everywhere. Every piece of property that doesn't have a house on it. They have them all over the turnpike too, even in front of weathervane! This is exactly what we can expect from them. They have broken many campaign promises already, they are huge hypocrits and they are scared!

    1. Someone was definitely distributing EG1ST materials at Holy Spirit ... I was given a business card with the candidates on the front.
