#1 - Cheryl tells me nothing about what I blog about. #2 - if Chris Defruscio is so badly worried about any of us exposing his devious plans- he shoulda never let his name see publication . #3 - who you all gonna cry to if Defruscio gets his people in and within the 1st few months - they destroy Town Hall-( which they will) and the public is closed out of any Town business - basically - you willbe further pocked out of any input . That WILL happen - Defruscio and company have NO INTENTIONS of letting any resident have any say in what they do @ Town Hall. #4 - if you gadflies really thin this election is about Dimartino and Matters - really - I have some land I'd like to show you ! Stop trying to dismiss the juvenile delinquent - Chris Defruscio - he intends to burn this Town to the ground and he's just stupid and ignorant/arrogant enough to do it. Jack and Don are fully aware of how totally immature Defruscio is. Don dismisses it because of his absolute hatred of the Democrats. Jack will see the light - albeit too late. EG residents have only one choice- Bottillo and B+Valle are the best choice- most professional candidates, most experienced candidates and quite frankly - the only candidates not linked to crime ! Matters and Dimartino are forever linked to criminality - FACT ! Defruscio is too immature to have any say in the day to day operations of our Town. VALLEE and BOTTILLO for a better East Greenbush !
By virtue of her experience and quality of character, Cheryl Vallee is by far the most qualified candidate for the Town Board. she has my vote on election day!
So Mike Bottillo is an in-law of the Hart family. The Hart enterprises have had a long history of productive and positive contributions for the betterment of the Town of East Greenbush and its residents. Since when is it a bad thing to be associated with a respected and successful group. Local government can use more people with a solid business background. Mike Bottillo has my vote on election day.
Mary Ann Matters was hand picked at the last minute by County Republican Political Operative, Rich Crist, after the Randy Cherubino debacle by Chris DeFruscio, to run for Town Board. Her husband, current Town Board member Rick Matters, was forbidden to run for any political office by order of Senior Federal Judge Thomas McAvoy, a Ronald Reagan appointee to the Federal Bench. Mrs. Matters seems to be a nice person, but she has condoned and attempted to justify the ethical lapses of her husband throughout her campaign for Town Board. If you want the County Republican Bosses to have a willing and eager Yes person on our Town Board, Ms. Matters should be your first choice. She does not have my support on election day.
Deberah DiMartino is a Keith Langley disciple, nothing more and nothing less. Her campaign slogan states that she will "work" with Keith Langley. I highlighted the word "work" because as far as Keith Langley is concerned, "work" is just another four letter word. Throughout his term as "Supervisor," Mr. Langley has spent much more time at Chris DeFruscio's used car shop and riding around with Chris in his truck than he has "Supervising" the Town business he was elected to oversee. Supervisor Langley seldom puts in a full day at Town Hall. He is, in effect, a part time employee collecting a full time salary on the taxpayers dime. If you want someone with the "work" ethic of Keith Langley, Ms.DiMartino is the clear choice on election day. I expect more from my elected officials, Ms. DiMartino does not have my support on election day.
I agree with the first two posts on this thread and I have a little to add. Today I received a piece of mail from Matters/DIMartino with no reference to Mr. Langley and paid for by "Friends of Matters". What are ws to make of that? Is there trouble in paradise? The sign has been taken off Langley's Ridge Road property. They would certainly be better off if they were to publically disavow Langley.
They had another curious new item on their literature; they pledge to have Town Board agenda's prepared 5 days in advance to promote citizen participation. Are we to believe that although Supervisor Langley has been unable to supervise his staff well enough to get this simple clerical function done over the past year that these two part time TB members will go in to the Town Hall lto give the necessary guidance to Langly's hand picked staff? How will that work? Why is it necessary for "we will look into the clerical work" to be a campaign promise.
I got that mailer as well and I noticed that the return address in the upper left hand corner was 52 Werking Road, the home of Chris DeFruscio. We all know hoe Chris likes to "promote citizen participation." That's way Chris ordered Mrs. DiMartino and Mrs. Matters to stay away from the last two Town Board meetings. Chris only likes citizen participation if it doesn't include his candidates.
As the democrats have not come to my house I couldn't tell you about Bottillo or Valle, but my concern is that Bottillo will to abtain when it comes to things the Hart's are doing in the town. I agree the Hart's do alot of great things for the town but can we afford to have 2 town board members that need to abstain.
@ 5:04 pm, Could Langley be trying to jump off a sinking ship? Wouldn't surprise me a bit. Keith is certainly not known for his loyalty to anyone but himself and Chris DeFruscio. If I were DiMartino and Matters, I'd be watching my back.

Those comments are totally inappropriate. This election is about 4 people busting their a$$es campaigning to serve the residents of E.G.. Personal attacks on them and other individuals detracts from us as a people., I personally feel everyone should look at the candidates and what their qualifications and abilities are. Cheryl, Mike, Deb and Maryann are their own people and will do what's best for our town. I've made my choice on who I think has the background needed to be successful in representing all residents. However, whether they win or lose, we need to rally around the victors and trust that they will represent all of us fairly and to the best of their abilities, Let's get out and help the candidates of our choice, but let's do it in an appropriate way.
