Don: Mike Bottillo and Cheryl Vallee are as independent as anyone and have demonstrable management experience! What are DiMartino and Matters qualifications, other than being hand-picked by Chris D?

ReplyDeleteMike is not directly related to the Hart family. He married into the Harts in-laws and is not "blood" related. Does that make him un-eligible to participate?
Anonymous 1:30: If his wife's relatives had a project before the board he would have to recuse himself and abstain on the vote. He wouldn't have to disclose their financial information if his wife didn't have a 5% or greater interest in their companies.

All the mud slinging from both aisles aside, the bottom line is we must elect two candidates Tuesday and the information out there from Mrs. Dimartino and Mrs. Matters pales in comparison to that of Mrs. Vallee and Mr. Bottillo.
I will support the Democratic candidates and hope that they are capable of handling the day to day turmoil we all know as East greenbush.

Below please find a post I submitted to Gadfly earlier today. It was written to respond to a comment on Gadfly that asked all married women to support Rep candidates because the spouse of one of the Rep's had been "attacked". My comment was not published so I will submit it here.
ReplyDeleteI am a married woman and if I went around Town with my "family portrait" handing it out to complete strangers to garner votes, I would consider that photograph to be public domain. I understand that most families have some skeletons in their closets but if I was running for office, I would consider my weak points and those of my husband. If a matter in either one of our histories would cause voter concern, I would get out in front of the issue with honesty or I would choose not to run.
In this case I don't know which of the two husbands in question was supposedly attacked but if the allegation is true I have some advice for all the spouses: Buck Up, you knew these facts and you knew your spouse was running.
BTW one of these two husbands is deeply involved in this campaign, speaking to voters at doors and is therefore fair game because he is a campaign operative.

ReplyDeleteI'll try to help you. It is true that the post was on Gadfly the proof is there for all to see. There is no proof that the blogger above is a married woman or that this is her opinion but, that is the very nature of blogging. Check your mail to see the proof that the Matters family passed out their "family portrait". I have a copy of the piece in question and it refers the reader the Matters vs Estes for information on Rick Matters legal decision from Judge Estes. It is not flattering. The proof of that is in the google. As far as Rick Matters behavior leading the two candidates around, if you missed it, there's nothing that can be done about that because today is election day and hopefully he will stop. But..... maybe he won"t. When his boss told him he couldn't run, he wouldn't accept it and that's how he ended up in Judge Estes court asking for an opinion AND that is how we ended up with Mary Ann. He is pushing her in so that his voice will still be heard through her. My hope for Rick is that he will finally see that the courts and the voters have spoken and he is no longer going th be an East Greenush town Councilperson.

Read their very limited bio's. They offer nothing that even is close to Cheryl and Mike. They are running on vague innuendo and hopes and promises. The platform they speak about is not their platform. It was written by Rich Crist for them. neither of them have the where for all to offer anything reasonably inviting as a reason to vote for them or to give power to Langley.
DeleteLangley , for his part , has done NOTHING for 22 months. He doesn't have a clue about his job and responsibilities. He's too busy driving all over Town with defruscio. The two of them are the most paranoid guys I've witnessed in a long time.
Chris - for his part is a criminal. His entire day is spent doing borderline illegal things to steal votes. He has no idea what he's doing and it shows.
You may not like Malone, but he's ALOT smarter than Defruscio- all day , every day. You ask him a question, you'll get an answer. You may not like it, but at least he answers and doesn't lie as Defruscio does.
Good Luck Cheryl and Mike- at least your not throwing barbs and each of you have reputable bio's to run on. If the people rad those bio's, this should be easy!
