"Supervisor Keith Langley confirmed that Matters contacted him via a text message about the blog, East Greenbush Matterss, but he didn't respond because he was dealing with other town business.
"It's horrible," Langley said. "I do not pay attention to blogs."
Town Republican Chairman Chris Defruscio said he was unaware of this new blog but would look at it.
"She's still one of us," said Defruscio, acknowledging that Matters had broken from the previous unanimous support."

Those wingnuts are so very few in numbers its ridiculous. His support has faded drastically over the past 8 months. Langley has caused ALL of his own issues by aligning himself with people such as Tirino, Gilbert and of course Defuscio. He must now suffer the consequences for those mistakes. Many have said that he reads the blogs like a fiend. I would have to agree. So, note to Keith: Your dead next November! Its your own fault. You may be able to salvage some of your public standing by reversing some of the stupid decisions you were a part of beginning on January 2nd. Your track record the past 8 months speaks volumes of your complete inability to effectively communicate with your constituency and your refusal to answer the simplest of questions proves that you knew your decisions were flawed from the start ! People have named you " the Putz" and quite frankly, you deserve that moniker. The onus is on YOU to straighten this mess out.
The problem is that the biggest mess that Langley and DeFruscio have their fingerprints on is the casino deal - and East Greenbush is well on its way to becoming a "company town" with its government bought and paid for by Feathers and Company. If there was incompetence and mischief in government with McCabe and Langley, "you ain't seen nuttin yet." If this thing goes down as planned by Feathers (to bail out his failing Saratoga racino) East Greenbush is dead meat. And Chumley and the Putz will bear major responsibility for the demise of the town. They're not smart enough to see what's going on right in front of their noses.
McCabe was nothing compared to Langley and Defruscio ! At least McCabe would speak with the public and answer questions. You may not like the answer you got but he didn't run away from questions ! Langley, because of his alliance with people such as Chris Defruscio and Ed Gilbert and John Tirino , will suffer from his indiscretions and rightfully so !

Mr. Ed, the talking horse's backside-- should start paying more attention on the home front. Rumor is Alice is upset Mr. Ed is spending every evening mesmerized by his blog. John Tirino stood at a Town Board meeting and made an attempt to endorse the casino. His comments fell flat because he was talking about all the wonderful jobs EG would have and said that "even the senior citizens could do something, like bake muffins or somethin". There were many seniors in the room, some of whom are currently in responsible professional positions and others who are retired professionals. John's comments were offensive and, shortly thereafter, an anonymous blogger named him the "muffin man" on the blogs. I thought it was a very clever way to highlight John's disrespect for older people in a humorous way.
On a more serious note, Langley is the leader of a strange little group of men who are consistently guilty of ageism and sexism. It's helpful to highlight their shortcomings in a humorous way but every time we see or use that humor, we should also remember that prejudice is very serious and extremely harmful. These people do not belong in government.
People take note: ED GILBERT AND CHRIS DEFRUSCIO ARE RUNNING THE MATTERSS BLOG. 'THIS SHOULD COME AS NO SURPRISE TO ANYONE. IT IS ED'S 6TH ATTEMPT TO SLANDER THIS BLOG AND DON JOHNSONS BLOG.

Langley has caused ALL of his own issues by aligning himself with people such as Tirino, Gilbert and of course Defuscio. He must now suffer the consequences for those mistakes. Many have said that he reads the blogs like a fiend. I would have to agree.
So, note to Keith:
Your dead next November! Its your own fault. You may be able to salvage some of your public standing by reversing some of the stupid decisions you were a part of beginning on January 2nd.
Your track record the past 8 months speaks volumes of your complete inability to effectively communicate with your constituency and your refusal to answer the simplest of questions proves that you knew your decisions were flawed from the start !
People have named you " the Putz" and quite frankly, you deserve that moniker. The onus is on YOU to straighten this mess out.
The problem is that the biggest mess that Langley and DeFruscio have their fingerprints on is the casino deal - and East Greenbush is well on its way to becoming a "company town" with its government bought and paid for by Feathers and Company. If there was incompetence and mischief in government with McCabe and Langley, "you ain't seen nuttin yet." If this thing goes down as planned by Feathers (to bail out his failing Saratoga racino) East Greenbush is dead meat. And Chumley and the Putz will bear major responsibility for the demise of the town. They're not smart enough to see what's going on right in front of their noses.

ReplyDeleteI think how sad and pathetic Ed's little life must be that he gets home from work and spends hours writing such ugly comments and actually pours over his computer fabricating some things and contemplating over what nasty things to write. It's plain sad for him. If he was happy at home....he would rather spend that time sitting with his wife kissing, joking and teasing.. So THAT shows the state of his home and his personal life. Think about that and you then you can see inside his marriage and you can see why Alice is tired of it.
Mr. Ed (Stooge 2 and beast of burden for Stooge 1, Sup Langley) doesn't get that he is being fooled into taking the hits for Langley (model of the navy blue blazer) and Stooge 3 (Chumley). Mr. Ed has been set-up by Langley and Chumley and he doesn't see it. The "insiders" know it and share it but Mr. Ed can't see it.

And maybe, you should tell Stooge 1 (Sup Langley) to stop pointing to his wife's picture and yelling, "I have to go home to THAT everyday!" It is disrespectful and plain cruel! Langley expresses that to anyone that sits in his office for more than 2 minutes. STOP DOING THAT! Maybe if you guys cleaned up your own personal lives, you may start doing your jobs and listening to people. If you lost your frustration/distractions with your personal lives, you may actually settle down to work. You have a preliminary budget to write, you have a project that is tearing the Town apart and you 3 OAFS sit and doodle.
Have to be honest, I would vote for Dave V. over either one of the 3 Stooges. At least my road was taken care of when he was there! And there the 3 Stooges go again. Insulting and criticizing a man for owning and operating a small business. Good for Dave V. if he owns and runs a business! Business owners are the foundation of this country and you would think, instead of criticizing the man for owning that business you would THANK HIM for filling ANOTHER empty space on Col Tpke and for having the tenacity to try and run a small business in this Town. ReplyDeleteJohn Tirino stood at a Town Board meeting and made an attempt to endorse the casino. His comments fell flat because he was talking about all the wonderful jobs EG would have and said that "even the senior citizens could do something, like bake muffins or somethin". There were many seniors in the room, some of whom are currently in responsible professional positions and others who are retired professionals. John's comments were offensive and, shortly thereafter, an anonymous blogger named him the "muffin man" on the blogs. I thought it was a very clever way to highlight John's disrespect for older people in a humorous way.
DeleteOn a more serious note, Langley is the leader of a strange little group of men who are consistently guilty of ageism and sexism. It's helpful to highlight their shortcomings in a humorous way but every time we see or use that humor, we should also remember that prejudice is very serious and extremely harmful. These people do not belong in government.
