I heard at Stewart's this morning that if the Dems cross endorse Langley he is willing to bring Dave V. back as DPW commissioner - immediately as a show of good faith. This would also preclude Dave V. from running for Supervisor. Sounds like Langley camp is nervous about next years election.
The current chair of the Democratic Committee was a cop for a long time. He knows how to make a deal and who to deal with. He has several members who want to run for Supervisor because Langley is a big looser in a fair fight. This deal makes no sense.

Has the Langley appointed Town Budget Director (George Phillips) moved to East Greenbush yet? If not, why not, Mr. Langley? It's been over 8 months since his appointment.
Is there a reason why no one is promoting Phil Malone for state assembly? Isn't that more important to our Party at the moment. Phil has a an Independent Primary coming up in September that could make a big difference in him winning.

The budget director nor the assessor live in town. Langley has not answered why no more free pile at town dump. This was supposed to be looked into since April. No audit released. No response as to why a tree company hired by the town was doing tree work on Corellis relatives property. Why was town crew dispatched to help tree company? The property in question is on a county road. Where I live no ones available to patch holes but we have people available to do tree work that shouldn't be done at towns expense. No effort to negotiate with town unions. Seems that would make it a little difficult to figure out next years budget when the Supervisor hasn't taken care of what needs to be taken care of.

Langley will piss that $ away on some stupid project other than the gazebo. I agree with 9:09 , why aren't the 4 vandals that wrecked it being ordered to fork over the money to replace it?
Delete270-4040 - call the Rensselaer County district Attorneys Office and demand that restitution be ordered. You need to ask for the Assistant assigned to East Greenbush Town Court. Make your feelings known. Why should taxpayers be burdened with this expense when those responsible will get a slap on the hands and laugh in our faces...DEMAND that they be ordered to pay for it!

He has shown little regard for the residents and his continued silence and outright refusal to answer questions proves he's nothing more than a inexperienced putz trying to do a mans job. Public awareness is a valuabe tool in the movement to make a better government for us all. ON a positive note, building has stopped on a property with an illegal plat approval, at least one board member is recognizing the Ethics Law, and with the conduct of Gilbert exposed, his behavior will be scrutinized. There is a significant independent good government group focused on 2015. Stay tuned, they will need your help in their efforts to form the independent, responsible government that has been so elusive in East Greenbush

Look at the fiasco with the tree cutting on Rt. 4. They honestly believe that wasn't illegal because "he's the DPW boss and you do what the boss says." WTF. What really needs to happen is we need a clean slate of ALL board members and Langley of course. Is there a way legally we could that? Get rid of them now instead of having to wait til 2015; then we'll still have MAM and DiMartino as two baggaged council people. I heard at Stewart's this morning that if the Dems cross endorse Langley he is willing to bring Dave V. back as DPW commissioner - immediately as a show of good faith. This would also preclude Dave V. from running for Supervisor. Sounds like Langley camp is nervous about next years election.

DeleteThe budget director nor the assessor live in town. Langley has not answered why no more free pile at town dump. This was supposed to be looked into since April. No audit released. No response as to why a tree company hired by the town was doing tree work on Corellis relatives property. Why was town crew dispatched to help tree company? The property in question is on a county road. Where I live no ones available to patch holes but we have people available to do tree work that shouldn't be done at towns expense.
