Not so Fast ........

"Government and business leaders in Saratoga Springs do not seem upset that the developers who hoped to build a casino in the city are headed to East Greenbush instead. Do you think it will come back to haunt Saratoga Springs?"

This was the  question posed in  todays  TimesUnion.    Actually,  is East Greenbush prepared to tackle this issue.  It seems as though Langley is blind-drunk on this.  He thinks its going to be a  "cash-cow"  for  East Greenbush.

  1. The topic of a Casino should be explored. This has not yet been done. the sneaky approach is a very bad sign. The Board should force Langley to work with them and with the people who elected them. come on, SWF unite with Sue and Phil to get some control of this issue.

  2. Based on his "work" as Supervisor over the last 28 months, Keith Langley is uniquely unqualified to serve as the Town's point person in the East Greenbush Casino negotiation process. Remember, Keith Langley's governing style is to prohibit people from asking questions at TB meetings and requiring certain Town Board members to file FOIL requests for basic financial information.
And ask the Town's Unionized Employees about how Langley is doing as a contract negotiator.

    1. Yes, Langley's buddy Matters held up the Fed Ex project for two years to get sidewalks to nowhere. Surely Ms. Matters saw how well this worked and will want to follow some kind of a sane process to decide this issue. I think a Casino Committee of leaders with credentials, eg - attorney's, business people, neighbors in the catchment area and elected officials including a TB member, a County Leg member, is in order. I am leaning to approval of a casino but not if Langley (DeFruscio) are in charge.

  6. Whether you are for or against a casino in East Greenbush, the people of East Greenbush will certainly remember Keith Langley's secretive and duplicitous behavior during the site bidding process. Langley had better start lining up a job for himself at the casino. He's going to need to look for new work after election day November 3, 2015.

  7. Langley is a DORK ! He and Duhmbfruscion will screw this up.
What could potentially be a good thing, will end up being the pink elephant because of the immaturity and ignorance of Duhmbass Defruscion and his minions

"The company will present its plans to the Newburgh Town Board on Thursday, Newburgh acting Town Supervisor Gil Piaquadio told the newspaper."

looks like acting Town Supervisor Gil Piaquadio is acting a lot better than Stupervisor Langlost!!

  9. Langley is more of an 8:45 AM Friday morning, Special Meeting, Inclement Weather, type of Supervisor.

  13. Honestly , my hangup with this entire project is having Commander Clueless at the helm , steering the ship.
I have always thought Langley was a complete idiot and his best friend Ercole is nothing but a petty thief. Are these the people we want leading this project on behalf of East Greenbush ?

There are some very reasonable concerns by many taxpayers that should be addressed prior to Langley rolling out the red carpet.
Sue Mangold has expressed interest in allowing more public input on this issue.
Of course Langley and the wonder twins will poo-poo this suggestion.

    1. If Sue, or any Board Member, wants to "allow" (don't you love the concept) more public input on this issue, all she has to do is call for a Special Meeting of the Board to schedule a referendum on this issue.
