Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone who's Irish for real or just for today but especially to my friends in Belfast, Catholic and Protestant, who have suffered so much and worked so hard for peace. There's still a lot of work to be done but at least the children are safe and there's hope for the future. We have it so good here in East Greenbush that we sometimes forget that our differences pale in comparison to what people are dealing with all over the world. At the end of the day we're friends and neighbors. You know what neighbors are like: they will drive you crazy 364 days out of the year but if tragedy or misfortune strike you come to their aid and take them into your heart because they would do the same for you. Here's to keeping our differences in perspective in what's bound to be a crazy year. Happy St. Patrick's Day. Erin go bragh!
Watch Defruscio closely. He's way overdue to put on some sort of display as he scrambles to gain traction for the upcoming election. Supposedly Mike Poorman believes he's running-(gawd help us all) and that leaves Langley hanging in the breeze .
watch and look no further than todays Advertiser ! The back page shows a letter condemning the SEG movement , allegedly authored by a "Michael Rosello". Well, the Mike Rosello that I knew all thru his days growing up in EG certaintly did NOT author that letter~ FACT ! So, either Ercole had it concocted and bribed Rosello or some one threatened Rosello- ( who by the way was looking for a Town job), most likely threatened and coerced by TrashBag Tirino !
I have asked "Mr. Rossello" (DeFruscio/Gilbert) for a digital copy of the Advertiser letter. I'd like to print it. DeF knows that there is a video of the meeting the Board had with Toski and Wojeski, and I also have a written transcript of the meeting. I'm surprised that they would open themselves up to being caught in such falsehood this early on.
I disagree with those that believe Chris Def was involved in Mr. Rossello's letter. That letter uses the word "unmitigated" and that word is too big for Chris.
Here's someone who actually pays attention and "gets it!"
"Please excuse me but I beg to differ with you. Many of those that write ion this blog are in fact NOT democrats. I, for example, am a Conservative. There are many Indy's and Repubs that use this blog--more so than Dems. You are making an incorrect assumption. Also, Langley is, in fact, all that bad. Even if we give him a pass on his butcher blog, we cannot give him a pass regarding the disdain in which he has treated residents at meetings, especially those concerning the casino. He has been involved with stalking residents and making reprehensible remarks about residents' personal lives--that isn't bad, it's down right creepy. He has been offensive to women, both those that work under his administration and those that are private residents-bad. As Eileen grant and Bonnie Kenna have so meticulously pointed out, he has no audit completed-bad. yet he continues to create budgets with no verified numbers-bad. For you to blame the Democrats and their prior administrations for Langley's issues is akin to President Obama continuing to blame GW Bush for his issues..six years after he was put into office and had a Dem Cong and Dem Senate for the first couple of years. Langley has had majority for the past year and a half--he could have conducted the casino fiasco much differently and he certainly did not need to shun Mary Ann and now Deb. That is all on Langley. He could have conducted a full audit in the last 4 years but as Eileen Grant, in yesterday's Advertiser, so astutely pointed out--he has not. The Dems had the dept heads on the podium during Town Mtgs--Langley removed them. the Dems (McCabe) took questions from the public; Langley halted that practice. Please do not misunderstand. I am one of the most outspoken Conservatives in this Town so my comments are not those spoken by Dems. My comments are not skewed by any Dem opinions or associations/alliances. My comments are based on observations and facts, not politics".....
To AnonymousMarch 20, 2015 12:53 PM--Thanks for the recognition. We place blame when it is justified and we give credit where it is due. The Dems cannot be blamed for the sins of Langley. Langley owns everything he has done. Fair and balanced! A.T.
I agree that Langley is mostly to blame for the current state of EG. However, when the man continuously surrounds himself with people such as Ed Gilbert, Chris Defruscio, John Tirino, Sean Mulvey, etc.... he cannot be solely blamed. The man is clearly ignorant of his duties and responsibilities. Time for a change in 2016.....someone who is aware of the needs of the community, not just simply focused on a specific agenda, but the overall " BIG PICTURE" and ALL the departments in Town, not just his friend Corellis dept.
Speaking of...I hope Defruscio is happy watching Anthony run that Dept. into the ground. And our "bus driver" chief of police , who goes virtually unchecked by this administration. Double dip much - Chief ? Yes Chris - everyone see's you driving the school bus during normal work hours ~ EVERYONE !
I'm assuming its CHUMPLEE posting over on the FLY , revving them all up.... people,. use your common sense. After ALL the damage Langley has done, ALL the bullsh*t he has pulled on the former employees who were dems.....do you really think Langley will ever get a cross endorsement ? For gawds sake- use what God gave you.....there's no way in hell that Langley will ever get a Democratic endorsement - NEVER !
Gadflies always fall for Chumplee Dumbfruscio and his bullsh^t. He's over there writing all kinds of crap and Don posts it like its the gospel ! They'll never learn ! He plays them like a fiddle !
Word has it that there is some pretty mean spirited and vulgar talk coming out of that garage on Corellis Drive. Not surprising with it being trash mouth Poorman's new hangout. One can only imagine what is being said as they all sit there wearing the hinges off the refrigerator.
Corellis should do everyone a big favor and go back to his business. He has really made a mess of things. Moral of the crew is at an all time low. He is very arrogant man.
Hope the SEG people are extremely happy....tax breaks, ALL the vacant land and dilapidated houses bought up...no run down bodegas and employment is clearly going UP ! Thanks alot ...I love my high taxes with nothing to show for it !
Simmer down 6:46...your town hall is why there is no casino, the SEG crowd merely called out the serious deficiencies of both our town hall and Capital View. Before you start swinging fists, do some homework and read the Facilities Location Board's report. Capital View was a joke. We knew it from day & by the end so did the Gaming Commission.
maybe the developer gets some breaks, but what about the overall financial picture for Schenectady?! If people are buying up all the vacant lots and buildings...somehow thats got to be financially beneficial to the resident taxpayers.....
The major difference was the leadership of Schenectady Mayor Gary McCarthy in comparison to the total lack of leadership of East Greenbush Town Supervisor Keith Langley. McCarthy testified very effectively before the Casino Siting Commission at the public hearing held at the Turf Holiday Inn on Wolf Road. As for Langley, he couldn't be bothered to show up for the hearing. He sent his then Deputy Supervisor, Ed Gilbert to testify in his place and what an embarrassment he was...
Mr. Bad Breathe and Stupervisor have done NOTHING beneficial for EG sine January 2014. Nothing to inform us of progress, nothing except place incompetent and ignorant people in key positions , which does nothing except line pockets with taxpayers monies and further throws our town into financial ruin.

ReplyDeleteWell said Jack ...
ReplyDeleteDifferences do vanish when someone's in need.
Like the warmth of the sun
And the light of the day,
May the luck of the Irish
Shine bright on your way.

PS 1:49AM??? Don't want to miss a minute of St Patrick's Day, eh?
Who is bringing popcorn to the circus we call Town Hall tonight?

ReplyDeleteDon,
DeleteMike Rossello would never print such an article.
This is clearly the works of Chump and Dump-(Gilbert).

GADFLIES;
ReplyDeleteRead this and understand it~
There will be NO CROSS ENDORSEMENT FOR KEITH LANGLEY !
Take that to the bank !
From your lips to God's ears. A cross endorsement would be a real insult to the people of EG. So...who is the candidate?

ReplyDeleteMcLangley and DeF are toast. But so are McC, Benk, Hart, Maney, Malone, Mangold, Polsinello, etc.
ReplyDeleteYou have obviously been drinking to many DiMartinis on Corellis Drive. Thats exactly the kind of talk that's coming out of that garage.
DeleteThat's exactly the message coming out of that garage on Corellis Drive. He wonders why his men can't stand him.
DeleteJust like Maney, it's either a garage or a basement.
