never going to happen.. this bunch is not serving the public.. just themselves.

  2. EG Talks is NOT AFRAID to post opposing views. When McCABE, MALONE, MANGOLD AND MURPHY win tomorrow's primaries, we sincerely hope you survive.

  3. "not in your lifetime"???

DUH - it already happened in your lifetime...they are there. I suspect they will still be there after November's election. Most definitely if I have anything to do with it!

  4. 6:10 - you apparently are mixing vodka with your kool-aide... if you can't be bothered to take off your rose colored glasses and see past the b-s spewed by Taylor and crew- well, you deserve yourself and your miserable little world!

  5. Jon Dohnson-( hic)September 13, 2011 12:51 PM

quite frankly - I consider it irrelevant whether or not the Tea Party cares to support the incumbants. They have their opinions, the rest of us are correct !
They seemingly look past the Corine Sheldon termination, the Cristo vehicle debacle, the Taylor being fired-(twice) thingy and her alleged *****-******* ****** with a different demolition contractor and Rick Matters padding/double diping. OK- to each their own - one good turn deserves another.
Gilbert and Fiacco - maybe they are decent upstanding people, but the simple fact that they have NO IDEA what they're doing and no experience at any of this troubles me in these hard economic times. I thank God every day that Cristo and Taylor got beat last year- oh the mess we'd all be in right now is unfathomable.
Can any of you imagine some twerp-( stolen from their blog) like Ray Mooney or Don Johnson actually thinking they had some say in the day to day operations of East Greenbush? Oh my !
Please support the incumbants this year - we need them now more than ever - just can't trust anything with Denfruscio or Cristo/Taylor tied to it!
BTW people: EGB is doing quite well - better than when the Republicans had any say in the day to day affairs of the Town !

  6. ok.. post this" And the fact that Malone made the paper recently doesn't matter and that fact that it will all be determined after the election..doesn't matter.
    Ignorannce is not an excuse.
Really one good turn deserves another so, that is how you justify Malone getting his now..
If this is what we have for our elected officals.. This town is in big trouble. The people in this town are being sold short.

    ReplyDelete
  7. The people in this Town were sold short having defruscion destroy the dpw for the time he was there - running a town vehicle on town gas to connecticut for used car auctions - NO ONE wants to know anything about that huh? 30 + thousand extra undocumented miles on a Town Vehicle - never mind all the gas that went into that vehicle.
Matters has stalled on almost every issue he's apprised of - thats government? Cristo was intimately involved in all process of the dpw and the budget for three years- yet claims "ignorance" of any of it?!? You tell me who got sold short !
When Cristo had grander plans - he jumped ship and sold the repooblicans a huge bill of goods to suit his personal needs. Don Johnson is no investigator - he had to be told where to go and Mike Christo told him exactly what , when ,where because he-(Christo) was responsible for most of it ! F A C T !!

ignorance of what you really know is NO EXCUSE ! That goes BOTH ways !

    ReplyDelete
  8. Is that true about the milage DeFruscio racked up on the Town Truck? I heard the same thing, that he put on around 30,000 miles in the 8 months he was there. If it is true....wow!!! I can belieeve it though, Connecticut,Clifton Park, Newburgh all are auctions he goes to. Should be easy enough to find out. get the records.

    ReplyDelete
  9. You can't believe that Chris DeFruscio is a dishonest person? Believe it. Ask around, there's more...

    ReplyDelete
  10. Defruscion is a complete thief ! The mileage on the Toown vehicle is true - but...don't forget he was using Town gas to fuel that truck on all the trips to his auto auctions in Connecticut and other places as well! He stole the Town blind while he was there- Cristo doesn't want anyone to know about this because Defruscion was Mikeys hand picked boy ! There's ALOT more that Cristo and Defruscio don't want any of us to know.....stand by - it gets better !

    ReplyDelete
  11. I have a question I need answered. If the Democratic candidates are as bad as Taylor, Cristo and DeFruscio say, how come the majority of residents in this town support them?

Taylor and Cristo had their chance to win the election but failed miserably. Why? I suggest that the residents of our town understand how difficult times have been in every community because of the economy and see the tremendous effort our leaders have put forward.

If you go to the Town Board meeting, you see 5 people working together for the benefit of our town. Rick Matters looks so much more at ease making his own decisions without a couple agitators whispering in his ear and trying to influence his every decision, as has happened in the past. I commend the hard work the Town Board is doing.

Everyone knows that Toni Murphy does a great job and is a wonderful person and the fact that Cristo and Taylor go to such great lengths to try to destroy Toni's reputation only shows you the type of people they really are.

To the Democratic team I say..."Good Luck in November"!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Ann Taylor : At best, she is a hypocrite. At worst, she is a vindictive hypocrite. The thing that I found that really surprised me was that the people who know her best like her least !

Dear little Miss Giggle~giggle~boom-boom, your vicious and salicious rANNting and carrying on will only lead others to expose your nasty, smelly underside . Be careful what you wish for...you and Shakespeare may want to go back into hiding...leave the nasty nasty posting to Don Johnson - he's clearly the "seasoned pro" !

    ReplyDelete
  13. The funny part of it all is that they those two bozos can't seem to put their finger on Toni's secret weapon....It is called BEING NICE TO PEOPLE.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Jake - if the Democratic candidates were half as bad as Mike and Ann say, they would have tried to run again. Cristo and Taylor are frustrated because they know they can't win and prefer to sling mud at anyone who disagrees with them. Oh, that's a lot of mud because, as the election results show, a lot of people disagree with them.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Everytime Ann and Mike open their mouths they help the Democrats. The majority of people in this town know what the twins are about. I say keep it up Ann & Mike! You only help us so keep it up. Bet you really didn't know you would end up inadvertently campaigning for the Dems!

    ReplyDelete
  16. The Taylor/Cristo blog has really sunk to a new low with all of the name calling going on. Just the tone shows such hatred for the Democrats that they both come off as downright pathetic.

In speaking to some folks that I know for a fact are Republicans, I get the impression that they are not voting with the Republicans...the reason being that they don't think Chris DeFruscio is trustworthy. There is speculation that Mike Cristo is running DeFruscio and must "have" something really good on him in order to keep him in line.

The Republican Party has pretty much been ruined in this town. Ann, Mike and company love to pi$$ and moan about the Democrats but will help them in the election just by being themselves!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Lizzie....I'd hate to take the time to answer you AGAIN. Ann and Mike are not running for anything, yet you folks can't seem to loose your obsessive/compulsive fixation. Gonna wipe doorknobs next?? It's only a matter of time until the corruption starts to unravel. I think it's already started.

    ReplyDelete
  18. So we should give the Bobbsey Twins a pass and let their false accusations and slanderous attacks go unchallenged? NO WAY!

They've done more to divide East Greenbush than anyone and are very bitter people who can't get passed their losses.

They don't give a rat's foot about EG, just their own bruised and evil egos and turn any election into a personal vendetta against the Dems and their families.

Give them a pass and let their false accusations and slanderous attacks go unchallenged? NO WAY!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Where did the candidate for receiver of taxes post all her ideas I think that other blog once again r making up stories, the women was fired from r school district why would we want her, get real!!!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Ann & Mike may not be running for any office but their mission in life is political turmoil in East Greenbush. They lost and just can't move on. Sad for their families...they can pretend to be proud of them...but realistically...who would be?

    ReplyDelete
  21. I know they're not running again. They're tired of getting walloped. Not good for their egos. If they actually had anything positive to contribute, so many people wouldn't care. They are all about dividing the town and spreading venom so they deserve what they get. Now that Toni Murphy puts in the Advertiser she is looking into electronic payments, she automatically took Corrine Sheldon's idea? Like Toni isn't capable of her own ideas? Give me a break. Spew venom and you deserve what you get.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Here we go...lets write about Ann Taylor. Little Miss loser can't seem to tell the truth.

She's been terminated - ( just like Corine) and her performance in her non-paying Town appointment as the Economic Developer person was so dismal - basically she did NOTHING!

Here boy-toy-friend-casual acquaintance , Cristo - did just about the same while he screwed the taxpayers of East Greenbush for three full years !

These two moronic idiots , along with Ray Mooney and Don Johnson, are running what's left of the defunct Republican party , into the ground.

If Gilbert and Fiacco were smart - they'd stay as far away as possible- and for the both of them - whatever you do - don't even think of aligning yourselves with Christo or Defruscion - it'll instantly spell the end of whatever political aspirations you may have had !

    ReplyDelete
  23. Anonymouse at 9:47....the sheriff, she is getting closer. Nothing else could have stimulated the nonsense you just barfed.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Just the incessant lies spewing forth from Mikey and Ann's big flapping pie holes.

    ReplyDelete
  25. they're slicing Gilberts and Fiaccos throat over there - comical and par for the course in the Cristo/Taylor camp.
You people over in Tea Party land need an enema !

    ReplyDelete
  26. I don't get why anyone would care what is said on the Cristo-Taylor blog. Cristo or Taylor or one of the few followers that they have make a statement and then they write responses agreeing with themselves under anonymous or one of their fictitious names. It's always the same few people.

Has anyone seen anything on their blog from any of the Republican/Conservative candidates - anything from Rick Matters, Phil Danaher, anyone who truly represents the Republican or Conservative Party?

Cristo and Taylor have become a distraction and an embarrassment for the candidates and town folks who care about what goes on in this town. Let Cristo and Taylor make all of the accusations and distorted charges they want - nobody cares what they have to say. Even Corine Sheldon hasn't written on their blog and Taylor has endorsed her for Receiver of Taxes. Poor Corine - she has it tough enough going against someone as respected and adored as Toni Murphy is and now she has the handicap of being supported by Taylor.

I support all of the Democratic Candidates this election, but I do respect the decent, hard fought campaign that the candidates from the Republican/Conservative party have put together.

Cristo and Taylor have lost sight of the fact that regardless of party affiliation the residents of this town resent the negativity and name calling coming from Cristo and Taylor and they're not even candidates.

I would respond to all the negative campaigning Chris DeFruscio is doing but let's face it,
DeFruscio has even less of a following than Cristo and Taylor.

Thanks for the opportunity to share my thoughts.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Why does the Mike and Ann show try to focus on East Greenbush only?

Isn't Mike our County Legislator? What has Mike accomplished in his time with the Legislature? It's been a couple of years now. I want to know what Mike does personally - not what he tries to take credit for by hanging onto Kathy Jimino's skirt. Kathy does a good job representing the entire district. Mike complains about the running of East Greenbush because he was rejected by the voters of EG.

Mike, please tell me you are not just sitting on your a$$ collecting another paycheck for doing nothing like when you were on the Board in EG. Oh, and by the way, at the County Mikey gets medical coverage and pension credits-might explain why he went to the County and deserted his board seat in EG when he promised he wouldn't.

Mike, you are more transparent than you think!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Jethro, it's unfair to ask Mike Cristo what he's done at the County Legislature when you and most people know that the answer is NOTHING! What would you or anyone expect? Cristo's been in politics around 5 yers and other than his long winded blogs and running around town complaining, he's done nothing for the town or the county.

If you think about it, the less Cristo does, the better off we all are because he would only screw things up anyway. I want to thank Cristo for doing nothing and not making things worse. Thanks Cristo!

    ReplyDelete
  29. County Legislator Cristo's done a lot!

Voted for the County Budget and Tax increase even though he was against the actual amount (HUH?).

Approved fat raises for HVCC faculty.

Trying to 'redeem' his standing w/ the Majority & County Exec, no doubt. Didn't work too well, eh?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Let's face it - Ann, Mike and their band of Merry Misfits could eff up a free lunch!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Anti-Cristo at any cost ! He's worthless !September 20, 2011 11:26 AM

you must go back to his pitiful excuse for giving the faculty a raise @ HVCC all while he was complaining about the Town giving raises.
His lame excuses were classic political mumbo-jumbo and he made quite the fool of himself.
Bottom line: East Greenbush is so much better off without him or his lady toy - Failure Taylor

    ReplyDelete
  32. Failure Taylor - how apropos - a moniker that will, no doubt, follow her for many years to come!

    ReplyDelete
  33. WOW- what did Phil do to piss off Hal Seigel ??

    ReplyDelete
  34. Sheldon was terminated for cause - heard it from School Administration. Failure to follow a direct order was apparently her downfall as well as couldn't get along with other employee(s).
And...we want her in Town Hall dealing with the public?? Puhleez....Ann - go look for a job and stop your b.s. Sheldon has no business in public office!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Can ya stand it ? The TU blog and Cristo/Taylor fan Cindy Glokler are allowing Don Johnson, Hal Seigel and Ray Mooney to accuse anyone who disagrees with them about being a Town employee! Pathetic and talk about paranoia ? They must be full of anxiety over there.... ZANAX anyone?
Those people need a good psychiatrist !

    ReplyDelete
  36. EG Talks - for your information, I post anything that gets sent in to me, as long as there is no swearing and no name calling of anyone in office. If someone posts they kind of open themselves up to the possibility of someone saying something negative against them. I try not to cover anything controversial and stay away from the whole this side that side thing, and you guys are accusing me of this, that side is accusing me of covering "fluff" and all I wanted to do was cover what was happening in town and stuff to do. I'm not into politics, never have been, never will be. I don't trust politicians period. I am registered independent - not any party. Leave me out of it.

    ReplyDelete

  38. Well folks, the kool-aid kids have sunk to new lows, quoting the Daily News.

Can the National Enquirer be far behind?

    Spaceship Lands in East Greenbush!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Cindy ;
no politician ever posted on that thread - therefore why did you allow all that unnecessary negative ?
You were asked openly why you were allowing such unwarranted negativity and your answer didn't quite cut.
The answer you gave was a text book "Ann Taylor" response - considering that your "not into politics".
You put yourself out there and as far as your posting what is sent, you have the right to attempt to keep civility yet you choose to allow exactly the foolishness that got Cristo thrown off the T-U blogs.
You allowed a one-sided bashing and slandering of people and when someone asked you about it - you defended your allowing/posting - so quite frankly, why are you complaining ?
You get what you get when you choose to go down that road! If all you wanted to cover was what was happening in Town - so be it- you choose differently !

    ReplyDelete
  40. So Pete will this make it unedited?

This is the post that Cindy so egregiously posted that got EG Talks
    knickers in a twist.

    1. Cindy, the Town Board is writing their own ethics code. They will
then police themselves. I wonder what your readers think of that
    idea?

The town was supposed to have an audit of town books completed by
April. The deficiencies from the last audit have not been addressed.
The 2011 audit is being stalled. Some voters think it is so those
incumbents running for office do not have to be accountable for this
year’s bad results and the lack of any action on prior bad audits. I
wonder what your readers think about that?

I realize that the T-U and this blog seeks to stay with fluff pieces
and avoid anything substantive or controversial. But the citizens of
East Greenbush are only a few months away from an important election.

I hope this blog can help inform voters and urge people to go to the
    polls and vote. Thank you.

So based on her letting this be posted EG TALKS saw fit to label her a
Cristo/Taylor fan, intimate that the posting was motivated by political
reasons and label all involved as paranoid and in need of Zanax. (as an
aside the drugs name is Xanax and is a treatment for anxiety and panic
attacks and would never be prescribed for paranoia. To bad there is no pill
for bad judgment) EG TAlKS attributed the anonymous posting to three
constant critics of the town leadership even though there was only one
posting . Seeing enemies where there are none are one of the symptoms of
    paranoia I am told.

But to the gist of it; both blogs are a one-sided refuge for a handful of
political wannabes that have nothing better to do then play tattle tale on
each other. You are both preaching to your own collective choir and really
have little or no influence on the outcome of any election in East
Greenbush. I really have no problem with your constant self patronizing
postings. However you have crossed a line in attacking Cindy and now the
real test of your integrity is upon you all. Does EG TALKS have the
strength of character to admit when he /she was wrong and apologize or
will this invoke another rabid response. I think I know the answer but I
    will wait and see.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Dear Don : your dead wrong - whatever it is you were trying to confuse the issue with is not even close.
The complant was the T-U thread that was SUPPOSED to address the possibility of a Town hiking trail. Nice try though... Go post your embellished political garbage over on the Ann Taylor hate blog !

    ReplyDelete
  42. Mike and Mikey....I have submitted absolutely nothing to "talks." Sounds like you're (that's how you spell it if you mean "you are") getting a bit nervous and jerky.

    ReplyDelete
  43. First and foremost NOT Don Johnson or anyone that routinely post on either
Blog So try to keep the assumptions to yourself. Now watch closely.

I apologize for my earlier post quoting the wrong thread ( see how easy
that is?) That said you guys still owe Cindy a big apology. She allowed
both sides to spew and once you’re a public figure you are by default out
there for criticism, deserved or not. As someone once said T.S Elliot.
Just Curious EG Talks, have you ever met Cindy? She is a sweetheart and not
inclined in any political way. I think she mainly allowed the post because,
as she pointed out, there is no one currently filling that slot with Ed on
    hiatus.

So based on her letting the posting out there EG TALKS saw fit to label
her a Cristo/Taylor fan, intimate that the posting was motivated by
political reasons and label all involved as paranoid and in need of Zanax.
(as an aside the drugs name is Xanax and is a treatment for anxiety and
panic attacks and would never be prescribed for paranoia. To bad there is
    no pill for bad judgment)

But to the gist of it; both blogs (Cristo/Taylor and Talks) are a one-sided
refuge for a handful of political wannabees that have nothing better to do
then play tattle tale on each other. You are both preaching to your own
collective choir and really have little or no influence on the outcome of
any election in East Greenbush. I really have no problem with your constant
self patronizing postings. However you have crossed a line in attacking
Cindy and now the real test of your integrity is upon you all. Does EG
TALKS have the strength of character to admit when he /she is wrong and

answer but I will wait and see.

  44. 11:21 and SICK OF IT

You're so far off the mark it's unbelievable. Is Cindy Glockler in cahoots with the Cristo Crowd? Sure looks it. Of course, they're the ones who hijacked Cindy's Recreational Trail posting to trash-talk the Town, its employees and elected officials.

Now watch closely … does "once you’re a public figure you are by default out there for criticism, deserved or not" sound at all familiar, even remotely?

Again "once you’re a public figure you are by default out there for criticism, deserved or not". Ring any bells?

Third time's a charm, "once you’re a public figure you are by default out there for criticism, deserved or not".

Is Cindy Glockler a public figure in that she writes and moderates a blog? ABSOUTELY! Thank you so much for making that point. You don't think the criticism was deserved. We do (see how easy that is?).

OOPS, almost forgot. Since you're in the mood to correct spelling, it's "Too bad there" not "to bad there".

    ReplyDelete
  45. Well Sick....you got your rabid response. Go figure..... You've got dumb, dumber and dumbest after all.

    ReplyDelete
  46. 1032- opinions vary

    ReplyDelete
  47. Bottom line - it's the silly season and everyone is clambering for some recognition of their candidates point of view.
So that being said: exactly what is the point of view for Gilbert and Fiacco ? Anyone? Sheldon is on her own - especially after her less than stellar employment history as of late. I think Taylors endorsement is the true kiss of death - but that's my opinion only.

    ReplyDelete
  48. What's the point of view of McCabe, Malone and Mangold? How have they addressed the findings of the UHY audit and the Ambulance District audit? What is the financial position of the Town? Doesn't look like there will be a Balance Sheet until after the election - again.

    ReplyDelete
  49. You're so far off the mark it's unbelievable. Is Cindy Glockler in cahoots
with the Cristo Crowd? Sure looks it

Really? Based on what evidence? (Remember you thought I was Don)

Of course, they're the ones who hijacked Cindy's Recreational Trail posting
to trash-talk the Town, its employees and elected officials.

I didn’t see their names anywhere on the Blog, so you know this how?

Now watch closely … does "once you’re a public figure you are by default
out there for criticism, deserved or not" sound at all familiar, even
    (Document link: Bookmarks (6))remotely?

It sure does sound familiar! I‘ve probably heard it a hundred times in the
last year from any politician that has unfavorable things said about them.
Are you really attributing a common idea to a small group of people?

Again "once you’re a public figure you are by default out there for
criticism, deserved or not". Ring any bells?

Third time's a charm, "once you’re a public figure you are by default out
there for criticism, deserved or not".

Is Cindy Glockler a public figure in that she writes and moderates a Blog?

In a word, weak. Yes she is public in that she writes for the Blog but HER
writings are not political the post she put out was a reminder nothing more
nothing less. She allowed EVERYONE to speak their mind and for that you see
fit to label her. Yeah that’s fair.

ABSOLUTELY! Thank you so much for making that point. You don't think the
criticism was deserved. We do (see how easy that is?).

Simply put, you are incorrect and I think most people would agree you
attacked someone without any real cause. You don’t like what some people
said on the Blog? Your issue is with them not with Cindy.

OOPS, almost forgot. Since you're in the mood to correct spelling, it's
"Too bad there" not "to bad there".

Let’s see, you misspelled the name of a drug and suggested that it be used
to treat paranoia, which is akin to putting out a fire with gasoline, in a
lame attempt at adding humor to an unwarranted attack. I used “to” instead
of “Too” Wowzer! (yeah I know Wowzer is not a word but I like it)

In the final analysis, it is clear you would rather defend your mistake
then own up to it. Too bad really, too too bad. (better?)

    ReplyDelete
  50. You said "keep the assumptions to yourself". Check the definition of the word you used … "taken for granted". So evidence is not needed.

"(Remember you thought I was Don)" You're right, DJ would never misspell or misuse a word as he derives so much joy in pointing out others' errors (see Don Johnson said...September 22, 2011 12:56 PM).

You've really "heard it a hundred times in the last year from any politician that has unfavorable things said about them?" NOT. Politicians know they are open to criticism with every word. As should blog operators/moderators.

Are you really attributing a common idea to a small group of people? NO, JUST YOU!

In YOUR MIND EG Talks is wrong.

By the way, the reference to "Zanax" was "Pathetic and talk about paranoia? They must be full of anxiety over there.... ZANAX anyone?" (see EG Talks said... September 21, 2011 7:49 AM) YOU linked it to paranoia.

You seem to be rather familiar with the stuff, just sayin'.

    Wasn't Wowzer in ShaNaNa?

  51. I don't know Cindy Glokler. But I do know that her parents, John & Marie Stephenson, are quite friendly with the Crisco Clowns. (Some might be interested to know that they were actually good pals of Bob Angelini, but no longer support the Dems because the administration didn't give them exactly what they wanted.) John Stephenson is a frequent flyer at town meetings and is known to anonymously blog on the Crisco-Failure site. Maybe it is just a conincidence that his daughter has taken over the TU blog. But let's face it, Crisco and Failure have jumped to alot of conclusions with the crap they have been printing over the last year or so. It happens. I don't think it was out of line to assume that Cindy may be inclined to support the "reformers" and they she may have been rallying bloggers in support thereof. I mean, hey, the last TU blogger is now running for office on their ticket! In short, Cindy put herself out there and really needs to get off her high horse. You don't like criticism? Take a scrapbooking class. Or maybe water aerobics at the Y, lots of positive affirmation there.

  52. Over on the Town Clown blog Michael Cristo did make a really good observation. He stated that people don't change...

Take that as a warning for anyone who has ever had any dealings with E Chris DeFruscio....he will be just as nasty and underhanded as he always was - the reason I, and many others that I know, cannot vote for the people he is promoting. That is truly unfortunate because they came into the race with a mark against them and they are not bad people. Ann is Corine's cross to bear...she should have left her alone.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Is Leg. Cristo also asking for a bullet vote?

  54. The defective detectives are at it again, thinking they know who's behind EG Talks!

    BWWAAAAA!!

Deny, they'll say "They denied, so we must be right."

Ignore, they'll say "They're not denying, so it must be true!"

Admit, regardless, so they think they're right?

DECISIONS, DECISIONS, DECISIONS!!! What's a girl to do?

    ReplyDelete
  55. Ya know Talks - it's actually laughable to keep those morons in suspense. They have absolutely nothing....and by-the-way - Sheldon DID NOT RESIGN- she was terminated. The resignation ploy/plot is simply that - an election ploy!

  56. I just went back through the minutes of the EG School Board since Ann said it was a matter of public record that Corrine resigned. Not sure where. I started at the top and was on the minutes of July 6 when looky looky what I found. Stipends are their big thing. Guess who received stipends listed "Extra-Class Treasurer Columbia High School" and "Extra-Class Treasurer Goff School". Could it be their dream candidate Corrine Sheldon? She was getting extra pay for extra work? Okay for her but no one else? Thank you soooo much Ann for directing my attention to the Board of Ed website. Appreciate you showing what a hypocrite you are!

By the way: NOT A WORD regarding Corrine's resignation which is supposedly public record from a Board of Ed Meeting.

  57. Lizzie....the school district is not governed by Section 27 of NYS Town Law with respect to payment of salaries to employees. So don't be trying to cover McCabe's butt with school district practice.

  58. Corin Sheldon was fired. But even if she wasn't, she was a terrible employee who couldn't handle her workload. Ask around, there are lots of EGCSD employees who know all the details. And again, she WAS fired!

    ReplyDelete
  59. The question is not WHO ended Corin Shelton's employment at Columbia. The question is WHY did it end? This saga is beginning to sound alot like one we've heard before, involving a certain political failure who "voluntarily" quit her job as bank president in order to take on an as yet undisclosed "exciting new business opportunity."

    HYPOCRITE = Ann Taylor

If - and that's being generous - Corine had half a brain - she'd walk as fast and far away from the plague we all know as Failure-Taylor!

  61. EG TALKS … PLEASE HOLD THE FOLLOWING COMMENT UNTIL THIS EVENING.

I've just submitted a comment to East Greenbush Blog concerning Corine Sheldon.

By way of background, Jim Cozzy submitted a comment stating "She has my vote. I have to say that I'm sorry to see what happened to her with the school district, I think they could have been a little more professional. Good luck Corine!!!"

    This elicited the following comments:

"21 Anyone know what Jim Cozzy is talking about?"

"22 Yeah, whazzup with that? Ann? Jim? Mike?"

    "Ann Taylor said...
23 #21--Jim Cozzy is referring to the latest Whisper campaign the opponents have started. Corine resigned from her position with the school district and has resumed her responsibilities with her family's businesses. Unfortunately the Dems have taken that and started another whisper camnpaign. Corine submitted her letter of resignation to the School Board last month and it was read and accepted at the Board Mtg--it is a matter of public record." Ann then tries to sidestep the issue by bringing up stipends

The comment I submitted is as follows:

    "Ann,

Jim Cozzy doesn't refer to any "Whisper campaign" at all, but wrote "I'm sorry to see what happened to her with the school district, I think they could have been a little more professional." The reference is to the school district's being "a little more professional".

You write "Corine submitted her letter of resignation to the School Board last month and it was read and accepted at the Board Mtg --it is a matter of public record."

That sounds professional to me. How could they "have been a little more professional"? ANYONE?

I have a pamphlet "Paid for by East Greenbush Republican Committee" that states "Corine serves as the East Greenbush Central School District's student accounts treasurer and handles accounts for her family trucking company."

Was Ms. Sheldon doing both when the pamphlet was distributed and then quickly decide to resign from the School District job?

You write "Corine resigned from her position with the school district and has resumed her responsibilities with her family's businesses".

If this is the case, one must ask how she'll do both if elected Receiver of Taxes.

Nice try deflecting the questions with the stipends, but they're in the past and this is the present and future.

    Pete Stenson"

We'll see if it gets posted. Yes, I did get the little "Your comment will be visible after approval." message.

  62. Hey Anon 8:18. I'm not covering anyone's butt. The twins complain about stipends being paid for with taxpayer dollars. School salaries and stipends are paid for with taxpayer dollars too. You can't have it both ways.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I find it amusing that the other blog talks about lies and dem whispering but won't even own up with their own honesty. Corine resigned instead of being fired. They gave her the option. Let's see if the other side can be honest and responsible and admit that. If you were at the BOE meeting the minutes state she was terminated. The addendum that night was put in allowing for her to resign. That's public knowledge. If you want us the believe the other blog then admit the truth. BTW, Corine as nice as she is , and she is nice. Does not work well with others. She is hard to work with, and was considered a trouble maker at the high school.

  64. Frankie,

no bank would have Ann as pres, she was a branch mgr.

CS could've been told quit or be canned.

  65. You are correct Lizzie....

Sorry Annie...you played that all wrong didn't you!

  66. Lizzie @12:04....this is why it is so frustrating dealing with you people. Of course taxpayer dollars are paid in both cases. But NYS Town Law requires that the Town Board pass a resolution to raise Town employee salaries. Didn't happen with the Town stipends. No resolutions, no minutes. Just might be a resolution or two on record to pay a stipend to whoever got them at the school district. You found them in the school district minutes, didn't you.

  67. Did Van Wormer, Filly Malone and Mikey O'Brien resign or were they fired?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Anon- you are so right. I didn't mean to give Failure extra credit by referring to her as bank prez. And, yes, you are still fired when your boss gives you the face saving option of resigning.

  70. Pete....re the stipends. Felonies don't go away until the statute of limitations has run. You can't say that they are just "in the past." What a precedent that would be for embezzlers the world over!!

    ReplyDelete
  71. But....and I'm only assuming this is you Don, those stipends do not necessarily rise to a felony level crime.
And...more so, they have to prove intent to defraud , and regardless of your personal view point, it is going to be hard to show "criminal intent". The "intent" part isn't there. The State already gave their initial opinion on this and I can only assume that if there was more, there'd already have been legal action if the evidence was nearly as overwhelming as you are insisting.

  72. Question ;

Does anyone actually care what Mike Cristo says or what his opinion is on any topic ?

He spouts off all the time like the voters really care what his opinion is on any topic.

When do we get to vote on his county seat again ?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Anony @8:45.....Have you talked to the State Police on this matter??

I know that an e-mail exchange exists which indicates that there just may have been an intent to defraud. It involves an answer to a direct question from a Board member.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Mikey boy has actually been kind of quiet on the whole Corrine issue. Perhaps this is a topic he would rather avoid? It's all Ann rooting for her "political sister." Corrine might be wonderful and qualified but if Ann endorses her, I'm running the other way. I do not trust that woman.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Ann posted the addendum on her blog. But I notice she never posts opposite opinions, etc. Why? because she (they) can't take an honest debate. The addendum is because the the school district allowed Corine to resign. You can get a copy of the board minutes, or go to the EGCSD website and pull the minutes from there. It shows the original termination.. SO Ann, Corine, answer that.. How is it a lie, or rumor when it's on the BOE minutes? Be honest and upfront for once, and stop turning the tables and say what about Murphy etc. Prove that you're honest, and so forthright.. Take the high road and admit that Corine had to resign. Then I may say, there's an honest person, maybe I could vote for them. I know it wont happen, they wouldn't even post my remark about the original BOE minutes on their blog.. figures. they want honesty, as long as it doesn't come from them.

  76. This is rich! Ann Taylor ends a post that contains what is portrayed as Dr. Nagle's ( 8/24/11) memo to the School Board recommending the approval of various personnel actions, including Corine Sheldon's resignation, with the question "what say you??????"

She probably wouldn't post it anyway.

Nevertheless, here's what I say, given that it is the actual memo and recognizing that a resignation is not effective until accepted:

Note the August 24, 2011 date of Dr. Nagle's memo.

Note the conspicuous absence of Ms. Sheldon's EGCSD employment from her announcement in the September 1, 2011 edition of The Advertiser.

Note the effective date of the resignation - 9/12/11. THE DAY BEFORE THE PRIMARY!

As I wrote above (September 26, 2011 9:51 AM), "I have a pamphlet "Paid for by East Greenbush Republican Committee" that states "Corine serves as the East Greenbush Central School District's student accounts treasurer and handles accounts for her family trucking company."

Given the date of Dr. Nagle's memo, there was ample time to redact the statement in the pamphlet. Can anyone say "Sharpie"?

Someone wrote above that "CS could've been told quit or be canned." Remember when President Nixon resigned rather than face impeachment?

    "what say you??????"

    Pete Stenson

PS Someone also wrote above that "Felonies don't go away until the statute of limitations has run." I'm not an attorney, but in the America that I live in, an alleged act is not a felony until proven in a court of law. I'll stipulate to the philosophic and moral arguments.
