And here in this weeks ADVERTISER, we have Keith Langley clearly in re-election mode.
The man hates Town employees - all of them, yet here he is kissing the DPW guys a** as he feebly and unabashedly tries to reel them back in for the upcoming election ! His election propaganda laced article is full of false statements and bolstered figures. The Town overspent on all of his alleged accomplishments and he fails to mention the lack of preparedness on the part of his hand-picked hack ; Anthony Corellis.
Corellis has endangered town residents since the day he took over. He has wasted resources and overspent for items because they were purchased from friends of the Republican Hack - Chris Defruscio!
The bucket truck for example: we paid top dollar for a used piece of equiptment that could have been bought cheaper elsewhere - but it was purchased thru the guidence of E.Christopher Defruscio from one of his political friends......taxpayers got screwed ! Then there's the other transfer station trailer. Guess what people? It didn't fit inside the transfer station ! It was worthless to us ! It had to be fabricated and modified to be useful, and.....we bought that thru the careful guidence of E. Christopher Defruscio ! If it wasn't for the skills of some of our DPW men, we would have had to cut it up for scrap ! It was useless when purchased ! Lets talk about the catch basins that will all need repair/replacement this coming spring . Who got those contracts? Talk about political incompetence and interfence ! There's some work that needs to be handled by our Ethics committee - whoops - forgot , thats why Ed Gilbert is there ! To make sure it never see's the light of day !
People of East Greenbush; we are being screwed each and every day by Keith Langley and Chris Defruscio ! Time to demand they step aside ! There has been NO SAVINGS of tax dollars as claimed. They over spent giving bloated salaries to friends and family members - awarding work to favored family and friends. Langley actually thinks were all dopes and havn't got a clue ! WRONG Keith ! We're on to your little dog and pony show ! NO LANGLEY 2015 !
Langley hates all Town employees except those that are hand-picked by him ! Look at the DWP "secretary" who simply can't keep her mouth shut ! Any other employee would have been terminated immediately but not Anthony's neice ! She is allowed to sit there and shoot her ignorant,arrogant little mouth off , day after day ! SWF - what a JOKE !
Please keep in mind that Keith never thought in a million years he would beat Rick McCabe. He did NOT want the Supervisor position and it shows ! The man has no skills when it comes to dealing with the public or employees. He is an unabashed male chauvinist and despises women that dare speak up to him or question him. MAM was one such woman and look at the venom thrown at her by Defruscio and Gilbert ! Langley has balls running for re-election. It will be interesting to see if he can beat the low mark for votes set in the early 90's by Jim Werking. At the rate he's going, Langley will set a new record for sure in November.
Point of view; TALKS contributors are mostly employees or past employees looking out from inside and know this town is screwed under Putz and Chumplee rule. Gadflies are people on the outside looking to get answers from the inside which PUTZ and CHUMPLEE are desperately trying to cover and hide. Am I wrong ? Instead of imploring bloggers on TALKS to do something when they clearly cannot, might I suggest you take the info. and run with it yourself !
They're not "running" with the information themselves because as you pointed out they are trying to find the answers that as you also pointed out the "insiders" (talks) know and the "outsiders" (gadlfies) don't.
I want to address Supervisor Langley's statement about the increased revenues from the metal at the transfer station. I'm not sure what Keith is trying to insinuate with his comment.
There are 2 reasons for the increase.
#1 Residents would bring in appliances and when we informed them they would have to pay $18 a piece....we heard over and over..."No way we're paying that kind of money and then the town scraps the metal and gets paid again". For years Reggie and I said the metal prices were too high and we would get a lot more metal if we didn't charge for it.
#2 There wasn't a gate to stop residents from coming in at night and taking metal from the metal pile. Trucks were seen in the transfer station after hours almost daily.
Now the metal can be dropped off for free and the DPW Supervisor had a gate installed....thus the volume of metal has increased.
Joe ; simply put, Keith knows his days are numbered. What he's now doing is exactly what Chris Defruscio did two years ago; fill the people with inflated and unsubstantiated claims of how great he is and the political hacks he hired.
We all know Anthony Corellis is a total disaster as DPW commissioner , but Defruscio and Langley need him there so they can exact revenge for terminating Defruscio when he got caught stealing from the Town four years ago !
Thats right folks - CHRIS DEFRUSCIO STOLE THOUSANDS FROM THE TOWN - FACT !!!
Langley says he appreciates the job the town employees do. Well, actions speak louder than words. 13 months without a contract for the DPW -at least 10 months since the last negotiation session - dozens of grievances against the commissioner. Langley had plenty of time to meet with the casino people but couldn't find the time to meet with the employee reps to discuss a new contract. Langley do you really think the town employees don't have your number? Langley don't listen to the people who tell you not to run - I want you to run. Langley you like gambling - well I have a bet that after the election and you lose badly, you're gonna cry! My friend think you'll be too much in shock to cry - let's see if he or I win!

Well, we got Deb and MAM. MAM woke up ONLY after she fell out of lockstep with Langley and Gilbert. Other wise , God only knows where we'd be ! We haven't heard anything about Ms. Loud Mouth up at DPW. Is she still working there? Of course she is; If the PUTZ fired her now, she could cause waves that would make him look stupid? I mean stupider!! What about Antony? he's done so many illegal things and gotten away with it. Those of you thanking DPW are clearly not ones who live in the manor or prospect heights where they find it acceptable to only go down the center of the road. Dear Mr. Supervisor, if only half our street is plowed does that mean we can get a break from our taxes? Mr. Correlis, you do not know how to run this department.
Sorry, I meant to say that I know the workers are doing the best they can. This never was an issue without Correlis. I am thankful of the work DPW is able to accomplish under that man's "leadership".
