There comes a point when you have to ask the obvious question!
What do they really have? I'm talking about the failed Tea Party / Reform fanatics. They have sunk to drudging up all the same failed campaign rhetoric with no new info. or anything of any real substance to add.
The republican candidates are virtually unknown to most anyone-( except maybe Ed Gilbert from the Times Union blog ) and the sad part is that these tea toting fanatics have allowed rhetorical embellishers like Don Johnson to be the apparent spokesperson for the 2011 election.
OK - GREAT ! DEMS WIN AGAIN !
Honestly - if all ya got is a 16 year old TU report that means absolutely NOTHING at all , or maybe the OSC investigation that appears to NOT be forthcoming anytime soon - ya think its time to seek out new spokepeople?!?!
Slapping some insults at the ethics committee isn't buying you any votes either - just saying . Puhleez - give the voting public some real honest " anything" since November 2010 - anything....... but you havn't got anything.
Mooney and Johnson and Grant and the occassional Dwight and Cristo commentary just don't seem to have any real substance or bite.
Big words and veiled threats clearly arn't the way to go , but hey - it obviously helps the Democratic cause and that's OK with me !!
Hang in there Dem supporters - we'll stay focused and dodge the mud slinging by Taylor and her cadre of political throw-aways and when the dust settles after November 2011 - we can once again sit back and watch the Town continue to progress forward in a positive manner.
btw: matters isn't in the pictures because he never shows up! Its that simple !
I don't think the Dems are going to have a problem winning again. Honestly, the Republican party hasn't said too much. They announced their picks and left it at that. If the Dems continue to get out there it will be quite easy. Has anyone seen or heard from any Republican candidates because I know I haven't and I honestly don't know anyone who has.
ReplyDeleteTheir own are complaining openly over on the bullsh*t blog! Pretty funny when even the last of the tea totelers can't get answers from the Don Johnson slate of candidates!
ReplyDeleteOle donnie boy is over there b*tch*ng and complaining to the "lurkers" -( his new catch phrase ) that McCabe is the devil child!!
Johnson and his cronies can't get it together!
Once again - I'm ROFLMAO!!
The East Greenbush Democratic Committee officially selected the following incumbents for Town office this evening.
ReplyDeleteSupervisor - Rick McCabe
Receiver of Taxes - Toni Murphy
Town Board - Phil Malone
Town Board - Sue Mangold
The Committee did not select a candidate for either the office of Town Clerk or Town Justice.
Let's support all four DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES and wish them well in their quest for RE-ELECTION this NOVEMBER 8th!!! There's a lot of hard work and fund-raising to be done between NOW and ELECTION DAY. Let's keep the Town of East Greenbush on the right path to the future!
Anyone interested in helping to SECURE VICTORY IN NOVEMBER, feel free to contact any of the four candidates AT HOME or Kim Halloran (Democratic Committee Chair - khallor55@aol.com).
You can keep apprised of Committee activities and fund-raising events at the East Greenbush Democratic Party web site at http://egdems.com/
Fund Raisers scheduled thus far include:
8/31/11 - PHIL MALONE - YIP'S @ 5:30PM
9/22/11 - RICK McCABE - ALBANY YACHT CLUB @ 5:30PM
10/04/11 - TONI MURPHY - MICHAEL'S @ 5:30PM
10/15/11 - SUE MANGOLD - PHILIPS RD FIRE HOUSE @ 2:00PM
Of course, we fully expect supporter enthusiasm to be at feverish levels this year on all lines of the ballot. Some have already started attacking Supervisor McCabe and Councilperson O'Brien (they must not know she isn't running this year) … let them have their fun now. We'll know who'll be smiling on NOVEMBER 8th!!!
NOTE: As EG Talks is portrayed as the "DEMOCRATIC" blog (although it actually is not) we remind all to keep your comments about each of the candidates, regardless of party, and, for that matter, any topic, clean and respectful. As the banner states "Feel free to comment ~ keep it clean ~ please."
We will be monitoring comments very closely … so keep them clean … you will not be posted otherwise.
EG Talks
Looks like the other DJ is back and true to his initials, off his meds BIG TIME!!! (aka "God help us all said...")
ReplyDelete"THIRD REICH OF RENS COUNTY!!!!" Sure hope someone's keeping an eye on him or God help us all!
Here's a good one :
ReplyDelete"The candidates running on the Rep. ticket are out there going door to door with their talking points. You can go to the bank with the knowledge that they will run this town by the book if elected. You can expect accountability in leadership. Keith Langley will make a GREAT Town Supervisor. He has management experience and integrity that is seriously lacking in our current leadership. All of the candidates running on the Rep. ticket are well able to serve our community without question."
Yeah.....right !!!
Keith who???
ReplyDeleteEd who ???
Dan who ????
Corrine who ???
A little levity....
ReplyDeleteTHE ECONOMY IS SO BAD THAT:
I got a pre-declined credit card in the mail.
CEOs are now playing miniature golf.
Exxon-Mobil had to lay-off twenty-five Congressmen.
I saw a Mormon with only one wife.
I bought a toaster oven; and my free gift was a bank.
Angelina Jolie adopted a child from America .
Motel Six won't leave the light on anymore.
A picture is now only worth 200 words.
They renamed Wall Street: " Wal-Mart Street ."
When Bill and Hillary travel together, they now have to share a room.
And finally;
I was so depressed last night thinking about the economy, wars, jobs, my savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc., I called the Suicide Hotline. I got a call center in Pakistan . When I told them I was suicidal, they got all excited and asked if I could drive a truck...
Tonight's "Music in the Park" made me think of the two songwriters who passed away this week:
ReplyDeleteNICK ASHFORD, age 70 - who, with Valerie Simpson, wrote and/or produced all but one of the late-1960s Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell hits, including "Ain't No Mountain High Enough", "Your Precious Love", "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing" and "You're All I Need to Get By".
Ashford, along with Frank Wilson, produced "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me", which Diana Ross & the Supremes recorded in collaboration with the Temptations in 1968.
JERRY LIEBER, age 78 - who, with his partner, Mike Stoller, wrote "Jailhouse Rock", "Yakety-Yak", "Stand By Me", "On Broadway", "Love Potion No. 9", "Hound Dog", "Charlie Brown", "Poison Ivy" and "Is That All There Is?".
All great songs.
Pete Stenson
PS Thanks, East Greenbush, for another great evening at "Music in the Park".
No commentary from Cristo ever had any bite ! or much substance - just big words and alot of B-S !
ReplyDeleteTaylor wrote anonymously-( go figure) and slandered Toni Murphy. They are running scared over there already!
ReplyDelete** Your showing how little class you truley have Ann- but then again, I expected nothing less from a two-time loser !
Corine Sheldon - the terminated former EGCSD employee is NO MATCH for Toni Murphy and you all know it.
Decode this one Ann: YAPOSAIS. GFJCOMCASOOPIEGB!
Dear Ann;
ReplyDeleteNo matter what miserable, nasty nonsense you and your cronies throw at Toni Murphy, she will always have more class and dignity in her little finger than you have in your whole body. And you know what else, the good MRS. Murphy turned 63 today and is wayyyyyyyyyy hotter than you!! And she doesn't even have to make a fool of herself bouncing up and down Columbia Tpk during rush hour, to stay wayyyyyyyyyy hotter than you. Happy birthday Toni!!
There isn't a single Republican candidate thats worth a vote !
ReplyDeleteThye are extremely nervous about the upcoming election , it shows and they have good reason to be nervous- the candidates proposed by Denfruscio stink ! Not worth any ones effort - this Sheldon lady being fired by the School District says loads for Denfrusio and his ability to pick candidates- hang it up !
We've heard nada, zip, zilch from the Rep candidates. Inquiring minds wanna know the 5 Ws, folks > > > who, what, when, where, why r they?
ReplyDeleteWe see the Bobbsey Twins and their gang of six slammin' Dems more then praisin' the Reps!
Did the Reps wise up, distance themselves and give the koolaid kids the (pink) slip or a wide berth? Can't blame them, with all the BS over there ... 3rd Reich, Wilton, 'clown supervisor' and so on. Those jerks spin more than any maytag.
Anyone know?
Cristo's over there blowin smoke again. Time for another vaca, isn't it Mikey?
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TONI!
Another music legend passed away this week.
ReplyDeleteEsther Gordy Edwards, who helped build Motown Records alongside her brother Berry Gordy Jr. has died. She was 91.
Edwards was a Motown executive for nearly three decades, holding numerous leadership positions within the music company whose artists included Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations and The Four Tops. Motown Records, which Berry Gordy started with a family loan in 1959, churned out scores of global hits from the building it dubbed "Hitsville, U.S.A." in Detroit. The company moved to Los Angeles in 1972.
Pete Stenson
Now they're bitchin' about McCabe's car. FCS, pension, maybe some Social Security, and salary! ALL LEGAL! Earned every damned nickle of them all. Oh yeah, it is a "furin" car.
ReplyDeleteNext they'll ask if he uses the more expensive two-ply TP and if he's right- or left-handed.
Critical info for those A$$WIPES.
They are a sorry bunch over there. However, if you think about it...people who like to judge and throw accusations at others are really trying hard to cover up their own issues and insecurities. Lord knows there are plenty of "issues" over there!
ReplyDelete....wait it gets better ...." The Donald " is running for Town drunk !!! I'll vote for him in a heartbeat!
ReplyDeleteHe thinks he knows something about everthing - kinda like Otis on the Andy Griffith show !
Don - try Champagne - it'll enlighten you a bit !
This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.
ReplyDeleteJust read ATs endorsement of the ROT canidate, funny she never even mention that as of two weeks ago she worked for our school district, guess she figures if its not mentioned maybe everyone will forget she was just fired. AT is going to campaign with her that's a good thing for Toni.
ReplyDeleteI personally don't care about any endorsement of Taylors , she's a disgraced former candidate who has ZERO credibility. She's a proven LIAR - so really who cares.
ReplyDeleteFACT: Corine Sheldon was terminated from her position within the East Greenbush Central School District - PERIOD.
Undisputable and undeniable- she was FIRED! That FACT alone speaks volumes ! Dispute and spin that Ann and Don and all your aliases!
Like Corine Sheldon didn't have enough problems....now she has Taylors endorsement!
ReplyDeleteTaylor feels "connected' to Sheldon.
ReplyDeleteThey've both been terminated from their respective employment, and Sheldon is running for a Town position that requires listening to and following directives- ( something that she apparently has trouble doing) and like Taylor , Sheldon also apparently has a temper - ( as told by numerous co-workers).
The comparison is eerily too conincidental and when you do a side by side line up of the two - it ALL adds up.
Taylor can't help but support Sheldon because its like looking in the mirror for Ann.
*** Bottom line: Toni , you have absolutely NOTHING to worry about! Let them have their fun and slander you all they want, they're only pissing directly into the wind and its sure to come back at them !
Man, now what are we gonna do? They are onto us and our plan to exploit Toni's "personal tragedies" in exchange for votes. Darnit, we may be forced to stick to the facts. You know the fact that Corine Sheldon was fired from her most recent job with EGCSD because she was wholly incompetent?
ReplyDeleteThey are more concerned with throwing around accusations to try and hide Corine's ultimate failure at her job. They don't know what to do except slander , mock and defame Toni because they are fully aware that she will beat the tar out of this Sheldon woman.
ReplyDeleteThey are so concerned with arguing and throwing mud over there.
ReplyDeleteWhat/where are there candidates doing / saying ? What are the opinions of these so called tea party/reform party pioneers ?
Once again : Keith who ? Dan who ? Ed who ?
Corine who ? Anyone.....anyone??? I didn't think so
WHEN DOES THE BOY CRISTO HAVE TO RUN FOR HIS COUNTY SEAT AGAIN??
ReplyDeleteBelow is the latest from the vomit blog: written no doubt by either Cristo or Taylor - anonymously of course. Funny thing is this : they post anonymously and have the gaul to complain about someone else who is doing the same thing ! And..who says that everything written over there is the truth?!? Talk about do as I say , not as I do!?
ReplyDeleteBut- that's exactly what they teach and preach over on the Cristo/Taylor Blog. And....just for giggles , why would it be any different for a sitting County Legislator who was also a candidate for Town Office to host a blog rather than employees of Town Hall? What Voicewould the Town Hall supporters have, because Taylor wouldn't and still won't post opposing viewpoints!Someone give me the difference. They are pissed because this BLOG started questioning and exposing some of the embellishments and liberties taken during lat years election ...AND THEY DON'T LIKE IT !
This blog was started and did a fabulous job making sure lunatics like MIKE CRISTO and ANN TAYLOR didn't get elected. Funny how Sue Mangold announced her intentions to run just 45 days prior to election and beat them both ! Damn this blog is good ! Read the fever pitched foolishness below:
"It would be profoundly disturbing to discover that a uniformed officer, and 2nd in command of our police force, was anonymously hosting and posting the Town Hall bile blog. Same with Mr. O'Brien. Anyone else, such as a local businessman: irrelevant. I wouldn't send any business that way, but it doesn't shake my confidence in government either. The other two, if true, would even further dishearten the community, since we pay them. If they posted reasonable, fact-based refutations anonymously, then I suppose that would even be tolerable. But to host and post what they do? Unconscionable.
And why the police would even care is a mystery. Mr. O'Brien, being the spouse of a politician, would be no great surprise if true. But a high ranking police officer? Creepy"
ps...: keep slinging mud you morons....quite honestly - IF what your alleging is true - I say - WAY TO GO MIKE & MIKE !!! If its not you two - best wishes and good luck to whomever is hosting this blog !!! THANK YOU !!!!
Cristo got thrown OFF the Times Union blog for a reason !! Taylor - you've been fired twice for a reason!! THANK YOU EGTALKS!!!
Kinda funny that the now defunct EGPRAYS was completely anonymous and you were NOT able to comment on any of the posts - yet that blog was fully authorized and endorsed by the Tea party blog/Reform communist blog.
ReplyDeleteCoincidence? Nah - not really, and that more than any other FACT drives me to continue questioning Mike cristo,AnnTaylor, Don Johnson,RayMooney , Hal and Hal, John S. and of course Bonnie too!
They don't want change at all - they want control so they can do exactly the very same thing they complain about - cronyism, nepotism and favoritism!
We proudly continue to offer this blog for people to anonymously voice their opinion.
ReplyDeleteThe simple fact that people can post anonymously is what drives many of us to continue to press on with this blog. Don't like it? Too bad - simply don't bother reading....the choice is yours.
We are actually proud that many residents and taxpayers obviously read this blog. It showed in November of 2010 and we couldn't have been happier.
ITS LIKE I BEEN SAYING - ABC-FEG-ST2 !!
ReplyDeleteTRUER WORDS AVE YET TO BE SPOKEN !
Einstein of East Greenbush - The truth? Our own County Legislator, Michael Cristo, said... "I posted #17 because I know the information to be mostly accurate." Saturday, August 27, 2011 5:55:00 AM EDT
ReplyDeleteOh wait, he says "MOSTLY accurate"!
Never mind.
Not a chance -
ReplyDeleteHanging around here before breakfast with no Sunday paper, waiting for Irene to arrive, I resorted to taking a look at this blog for the first time in about six weeks at least.
ReplyDeleteWhat vile stuff seems to be flowing out of the crisco/failor sewer pipe. First of all the lowest of the low, a slur on Toni Murphy saying she's playing for sympathy now six years after Tim's passing. Consider how many elections Toni has won since she trounced an incumbent to answer the people's call and take that office. All but the last with Tim at her side and no more need for sympathy than today, as she consistently stands out as one of the top vote getters. Those who know, know that one of Tim's most frequent comments was about Toni's strength and capabilities.
Then that rambling quote lifted from the other blog, what a lot of quasi literate drivel. So that's what boy crisco greases his path with to dazzle his little band of sycophants.
Finally these allegations about who might be hosting this blog. Boy does that tell me that they have no idea what is really going on (and no ability to take any effective or productive action). That certainly confirms they don't know what they are talking about, and just run off at the mouth with their self induced visions of why they can't get any traction with the real, productive, participating members of this community.
That's about all I can stomach for another while. I hope the paper has finally come.
Mr. Cristo acknowledges that "The only obvious writer that i know of who signs his name is Pete Stenson."
ReplyDeleteYet, neither he nor Ann have posted my reply to "Another (anonymous) Guest Post......" which states:
- "Mr. Stenson said a mouth full. I just wish it contained the WHOLE truth." and
- "Mr. Stenson is a bit disingenuous in his assertion that “the Town Board has been under Democrat control for less than one year, since November 10, 2010, to be precise.”
Didn't "approve" of what I had to say, no doubt.
They seem to be more interested in slamming Dems and identifying EG Talks moderators.
Pete Stenson
PS I didn't know Tim Murphy, but Toni is one of the nicest, most caring and pleasant people you'll ever meet.
742 - they'll neve get traction because they ONLY focus on negative and with Ann Taylor leading the way - they throw all the mud they can grab in hopes that someone will forget thast Corine Sheldon was just terminated from her job and they are all too stupid to have her pull back, so again , they'll get what they get !
ReplyDeleteCrisco is nothing but a washed up wanna-be politician. Taylor-( failer ) has been terminated or had to leave under less than desireable circumstances- what a pair huh?!!
Slandering Toni Murphy is all they can come up with ? OK - I actually pity Defruscio and his gaggle of psycho-drug induced tea party hopefuls.
Word is that town's employees are out keeping the storm sewers flowing.
ReplyDeleteAlso see that our boys in blue are out and about.
Keep up the good work! It's appreciated here.
Ann,
ReplyDeleteExactly when did Toni "USE HER FAMILY'S TRAGEDIES TO GARNER SYMPATHY VOTES".
Tell us or shut up!
Ann was mistaken - she meant to say that she and crisco concocted that hair conditioner scheme last year to garner sympathy votes! She was clearly mistaken ! But then again , we have come to expect nothing less from the TWO TIME LOSER !
ReplyDeleteThanks for clearing that up, Jon.
ReplyDeleteDidja notice no one challenging comments about the firing?
Crisco and Taylor have done nothing for this town except spread acrimony and attempt to ruin the reputations of good, decent people.
ReplyDeleteOne day in the spring of 2011, I made a list of all the insults their blog printed about the Dems. Here are the highlights (and this is just one day!):
"thugs"
"low lives"
"slimeball crew"
"ignorant slobs"
"forgers"
"sneaky, slimy, filthy disgusting sleazeballs"
"crooked perverts"
"worthless"
"incompetant"
Now Ann is claiming that people are threatening Corine Sheldon? I am starting to think she lives in her own imaginary world. Tell us more about that world, Ann, we don't know enough about your personal life. (Giggle, Giggle!)
Well, here we go again with Taylor blogging under fifteen different aliases. Nobody blogs over there so Ann writes to herself , then has her boyfriend chime in, then she writes again, calls Don or Ray, they write some jibberish , then Ann writes again !!
ReplyDeleteThey are dead in the water and they know it !
someone anonymously posted a ringing endorsement for the 4 Rep candidates. Ringing hollow, that is. Full of hyperbole but no real info.
ReplyDeleteIs that the best they can do?
"Kate" wants a GUEST POST from each of their candidates. Not in this lifetime, Kate. They want nothing to do with Mike, Ann or their gang of six.
Why do we even waste one ounce of energy on them. They are dispicable creatures, but, as has been said before, they need to retain damn good counsel if they even think of attaching names of the credible, hard-working, good people of this town with their lies and hanging them on residents door knobs as they have in past years. Go right ahead, please do. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Not this time. If I were any of those candidates, I would kick all of those misfits to the curb. They are crazy aligning themselves wih any of them.
ReplyDeleteI just saw a predition on East Greenbush Blog that has me being "annointed Town Controller" if "the Dems retain power" and that I'm a "major spear carrier for the McCabe/O'Brien mob".
ReplyDeleteI doubt that East Greenbush Blog will post my reply, so here it is:
"I'll repeat part of my unpublished comment in which I replied to "Another Guest Post......"
"East Greenbush HAS a Town Comptroller. Comptroller Breig has my complete confidence, respect and support (Disclosure - I am not saying this solely because Jim's parents and I have been neighbors for 27 years)."
Relax Jim, I have absolutely no designs on your job.
"Spear carrier"? Just trying to shed some light on the relavant topics."
I REGRET that I didn't add that I'm proud to be associated with Supervisor McCabe and Councilpersons Malone, Mangold and O'Brien.
I'm also proud to know and have worked with Councilperson Matters on the Finance Committee. We may not see eye-to-eye on everything, but I respect him and enjoyed working with him on the Finance Committee. We could function productively and constructively even with our differences. That is what gentlemen do, my friends.
Pete Stenson
Pete; you owe those morons NOTHING. You have answered the ridiculous questions of Ray Mooney and Don Johnson, only to have them shred your answers to suit their personal agenda over on the Tea Party blog. Your a plus to the entire Town, not one particular party. For them to align you with the McCabe and OBrien mob is actually a compliment !
ReplyDeleteGood work Pete - keep pressing on !
Thanks for your support, Jeff-677.
ReplyDeleteI just call 'em as I see 'em. For the record, my glasses aren't rose-colored, they're not blinkers and I don't suffer from 'tunnel vision'.
Pete Stenson
Democratic Beer Goggles?
ReplyDeleteTea Party / reform party = losers. I'd rather wear Democratic Beer goggles than be associated with anyone the likes of Johnson, Jenkins or Mooney, crisco or failure taylor.
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking, but nope. Mostly coffee, juice and no-jail-ale if you must know.
ReplyDeletePete Stenson
I wish someone over on the Bozo Blog would fix the spelling in the side message....it is spelled R e n s s e l a e r.
ReplyDelete
