Lets get some opinions- shall we ?!

Political  know-it-all and  two time  losing  Town Board  candidate Ann Taylor has  once again decided to throw  some  undeserved and  arrogant  snowballs at the  Supe- Rick McCabe.

In the interest of  rhetorical spin journalism ,  write  whatever you want  Ann,  just be  prepared for the  backlash that is  guaranteed to follow.  You and  Cristo made it a  point to alienate almost ALL Town employees  the past two  elections  , and then  cry and  scream  foul when they didn't  support  your  failed  campaigns.  Go figure?!?  It's  almost  like;  C'mon Man!!  You  must be  kidding!

Anyway- because  I'm confident  that  little  miss numbers  lady  is  actually  screaming  for  help - see her latest add in the most recent  addition of  " Our  Towne"   where  she  advertises her  alleged  bookeeping  skills and her  ability to  handle  paperwork for  small business owners.  OK-  good  luck with that and  I hope that none of your prospective clients  ever check your backround  references-  fired/terminated  TWICE  from  banking positions  and  having to be  physically  escorted from one of the  businesses!    Best of  luck though - really -  NOT!!!

Ann -  Rick McCabe  is so far  ahead of you and  your campaign mate  Cristo and  neither of you could  ever  come close to his  accomplishments  in the  political arena  nor the volunteer/personal arena.  You can  throw  snowballs  all day long  ann-  but  reality is  that your  truley  envious  of the  man and  your  starting your  smear  campaign  because  quite  frankly,  THE  TOWN IS  RUNNING ALONG  QUITE  WELL  WITHOUT  YOU !   You and cristo  screwed  up  things  well enough  last  year-  we  fixed them again and  things  are moving  along  flawlessly - no thanks to you or any of  your supporters.

Therefore and in the interest of  equal time  and   play -  tell us what you  really  think  of  Ann Taylor-  she  makes  things up as she  goes  along -  and  I believe she  mis-placed her  Dale  Carnegie paperback because  she has  clearly  forgotten  how to  make  friends and  influence  people!  Feel free to say exactly  what you  think -  and ...:  note  to  reformers  and " her  people"  -  don't  bother - this one is  for  us, not  you !  Time for some  chathartic  venting - AGAIN  -  let us celebrate  the  enigma  we've all come to know  as  Ann Taylor -  NOT!!

Oh -  I almost  forgot - Rick  worked  for  35  years  as a  teacher for the  Rensselaer City School District and  collects  his  very  much deserved and  earned retirement.  As far as  what he gets  from the Town,  he gets  his  approved  salary and  NO  retirement  benefits , he is not in the NYS retirement system- nor does he receive any health care benefits  from the  Town!  That's  truthful-foilable FACT!

  1. Let's get something straight: only about 5 people like Ann Taylor, and one of them is her. The others include Mike and her parents. She is 0-2 in elections, even with almost every issue lined up for her. Hitler could have have pulled off that win...but she could not. Why? SHE'S UNLIKEABLE. It's that simple.

This is a woman who put her own name everywhere on things her employer sponsored (like the EG Softball sign) so she could get her name out there. She LOVES hearing or seeing her name. Narcissism at its worst.

This woman told a group of people at a business meeting "I hate kids and everything about them". A person that bought a house and THEN added her father's name to the deed so she can claim a veteran's exemption. Vile.

This is a woman who made up stories about things happening to her car to get sympathy. She can't hold a steady job, either.

I bring these things up to remind you all to NOT get bent out of shape about the nonsense she writes. No one likes her and she only has a small army of low IQ minions in a trance.

  2. Timmy - Yup it's me !April 11, 2011 4:15 PM

I find her personally offensive and arrogant. She acts like the people of East Greenbush owe her a living. I for one, am not fooled by her little "innocent me" persona. Her temper is becoming legendary-( as was reported on this very blog several times)
What Cristo see's in her is unknown to many- but hey- he's really not electable either !

  3. What is poor Ann Taylor to do? If she goes against her true nature and pretends she is nice she cannot get elected. If she follows her natural instincts and is nasty to all who refuse to worship her she still can't get elected.

So...Ann wrote a blog against a highly respected and hard working Rick McCabe so she'd recieve a scathing response from his supporters. Then, she can claim it is an attack against a small, little woman. Also, her followers can complain about how mean the Democrats are and soothe her ego. But alas, to no avail, it takes more than Ray, Bonnie, Don, Mike and Bugaboo cretin to get elected.

Ann & Mike's has united Democrats, Republicans, Indepedents, Conservatives and Blanks to make sure their candidacy will end in another failure. I apologize if this seems mean spirited but sometimes, enough is enough.

  4. This will never get posted on the other blog, but here goes....

Ann, you really have no clue. I guess you wouldn't know how pensions work, because you cant keep a job long enough to earn one. The supervisor worked 35+ years in a school were most avoided. He made a difference in many young peoples lives. Bottom line, regardless of who the super is, the salary will be paid. And, this has nothing to do with his wife. She is a respected educator, who has a masters degree in education. Ms. McCabe works part time for a walmart greeters salary at the library, with to my knowledge no benefits. She does this because she loves it. Should we take her pension away?????Get a clue.....Also, double dipping....two words ....Rick Matters..Fair is fair...I have no proplems with Rick..

  5. There are some who think that Ann is actually an operative for the Dems, because she is so unelectable as a Repug candidate. All I know is that the best thing that can happen for the Dems is that the Repugnicans put her and Mikeypoo on the ticket again. I would love that. An easy win for the Dems.

And yes Timmy, she is arrogant. Just because she is not as fat as she used to be she thinks she's hot. She's gross. Mike shoulda stuck with his wife instead of this arrogant side piece.

  6. WAITING for November !!April 11, 2011 9:02 PM

Lets make this as perfectly clear as can be- Rick retired after teaching for 35 years. When Bob was ill and we all knew what was to happen, he asked Rick to take over. Rick had no intention what so ever of being a full time politician. Mike Cristo knows this to be the truth- he was in Angelini's living room as all this was openly discussed. Rick had to go to the NYS teachers retirement and get a waiver so that he could work full time after retirement. It was a LEGAL WAIVER given to him after he applied for it. NO DOUBLE DIPPING HAS OCCURED and what he is doing is perfectly legal. Unlike Cristo and Danaher and Desso, who were ILLEGALLY DOUBLE DIPPING and that was a FACT. Bottom line- ANN TAYLOR is full of sh*t-( as usual) and the worst part of it is that her co-conspirator Cristo knows she's lying !

  7. OK- this is too easy !! Cristo just blogged that he never double dipped because he refused his Town Salary until the controversy was over. HUH? which means he knew and was legally advised that what they were doing was illegal and was being challenged and that they were going to lose.
He then writes that after the law was corrected and if he had been elected it would have been ok- but.....the Law was only corrected AFTER the Dems sucessfully brought the suit and the judge told cristo,Danaher and Desso that they could not hold both positions. So they got their friends in the Legislature to fix them a new law that would let them DOUBLE DIP legally! Mike- your no rocket scientist- that's for sure!!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Mr. Rocket scientist Cristo, at the end of his latest bulls&$t post, condemns the Dems for hiring back retiree's as consultants. Hey idiot, didn't you do the sames thing with Red Guynup and Paul Mason??? Yes you did. Huh?

    ReplyDelete
  9. So the question then becomes... Is the King of "Um and Ahhs and I know" returning his salary? If you are to consider the flawed logic of the mean and nasty one. Rick Matters a state employee does he return his town salary and benefits?

  10. Ann Cristo posted a blog about how it is Rick's fault that the UPS store closed and that On A Break Cafe closed. It was, as usual, poorly written and full of falsehoods. They closed because they were not marketed or run well. Her boyfriend Mike chirped in that "Ann did a great job approaching businesses last year and got a few to locate here and they are still here." So, I posted a comment asking Mike to prove that his girlfriend did in fact get businesses to move here, by listing the names of those businesses that are here because of Ann. It never got posted, because, of course, Mike was lying to make his girlfriend sound good. When will these two just elope and leave EG alone? We don't want them here.

  11. I see it's time to drop the "f-bomb"!

FACT: TWO COURTS ruled that being a Rensselaer County Legislator and a Town Board Member WAS ILLEGAL! Thus, County Legislators Cristo, Danaher and Desso had to vacate their respective Town Board seats upon taking the County Legislature Oath of Office. Yes, this was done in the past. Evidently, no court ruling was sought.

FACT: State Law LIMITS the earnings of State Pension System retirees who obtain certain public sector employment (see page 6 of the New York State and Local Retirement System publication entitled "LIFE Changes What If ... I Work After Retirement?" (http://www.osc.state.ny.us/retire/word_and_pdf_documents/publications/1600s/1648-workingafterretirement.pdf).

FACT: State Law DOES NOT LIMIT the earnings of retirees who hold elected office following retirement! I quote from page 11 of "LIFE Changes What If ... I Work After Retirement?"

"If you are elected or appointed to an elective position that you did not hold before you retired, your earnings are unlimited and will not affect your pension." It could be argued that State Law actually encourages this by imposing no earnings limit.

    To recap:

Double-dipping as a Rensselaer County Legislator and a Town Board Member was TWICE ruled to be ILLEGAL.

Double-dipping as a State Pension System retiree and public sector employee IS LEGAL, but subject to earnings limits.

Double-dipping as a retiree and an elected official, i.e. retired Teacher and Town Supervisor, IS LEGAL and arguably ENCOURAGED by the absence of an earnings limit.

    Pete Stenson
(Disclosure - I am a double-dipper - a NYS retiree who serves as an East Greenbush Planning Board Member - Alternate.)

  13. Timmy ! This is Great !!!April 12, 2011 9:18 AM

Bottom line: Taylor has no clue as to what she's talking about ~ and ~ Cristo is the picture of a washed up "used to be" politician ! They still can't come to grips with the loss this past November - after ALL the bullsh*t they layed down, all the false accusations they tried to pull against McCabe , OBrien and anyone associated with them- and ya know what??? NONE OF IT WORKED!!

Taylor/Cristo; run away to mikies place down in the Carolinas and STAY THERE! Leave your spouses here- we actually might kinda like them better than you two philanderers! C'mon man! Lets have some Champagne!

  14. The Dems are a streamlined picture of efficiency.
Reformers and the quasi repooblicans - eh- not so much .

Example: they need five-(5) blogs to attempt to keep up with the one and only EGTALKS !

The inefficiency of the reform party breeds contempt and hatred and gives them nothing but time on their hands to think about what could have been.

Haters galore over there ! They deserve each other.

  15. This is pretty funny....Ann opened up a can of whoopa$$ on herself...hope she's not looking for any sympathy. I do not believe any will be forthcoming. Got what you asked for Ann!

Keep casting them stones, Annie, just make sure you duck!

  17. The ODE TO MIKE AND ANN was in very, very poor taste and will not be posted

  18. Timmy ! Yup I'm still here ;-)April 13, 2011 10:18 AM

Clarification: " Timmy the Fed up Taxpayer" is NOT me! He is one of Cristos neighbors and HATES ALL TOWN EMPLOYEES! He lives on Old troy Road and to this very waking moment, I can't understand why he doesn't move out of East Greenbush.
I, on the other hand fully support our Town Board and the employees of East Greenbush wholeheartedly and proudly! I believe the Town is on the correct course-( no thanks to Mike and Ann) and if we could be sucessful in getting rid of Matters- all would be well !

For two political candidates to so blantantly distort and twist facts borders on criminal action. Ann is a proven liar and Cristo - well he speaks for himself quite well! Shakespeare?! lmao !

  19. Now they are accusing Town employees of stealing gas! What's next !?! And the hits just keep coming!

  20. Pity poor Jim Cozzy ... having to explain his "I'm a pepper" joke to those dolts!!!!

  21. Damn....Were the hell was my free gas? Also, why didn't I get a job with the town when I was unemployed? I guess the Supe doesn't have this nepotism stuff down as well as Cristo....Can't wait for November..I am thinking about running my idiot Basset Hound on the I Love HotDogs line...He would get more votes than Taylor and Cristo....LOL......

  23. Supervisor McCabe reports that the Town's been working with Linda Hillman and Ryan Silva, respectively the President and Director of Business Development of the Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce, to form "a relationship for growth in East Greenbush" and to "work in a positive direction will be very rewarding."

The Supe's criticized by someone who's "willing to bet that these two people do not live here and likely rarely come here."

If the Town can partner with the Chamber, the Rensselaer County IDA* and the East Greenbush Business Alliance to bring businesses and jobs to East Greenbush, I say SUPER, SUPE!

Who cares where they may or may not live, so long as they can deliver??

    Pete Stenson

*FYI, Bob Pasinella, the Rensselaer County IDA's Executive Director, delivered and excellent and informative presentation at Monday's CFAC Meeting.

  24. JON DOHNSON ~ hiccup!April 15, 2011 2:07 PM

Lest we all forget, in the myriad of bullsh*t coming from Taylor and Co.- good ole RICK MATTERS ~ the KING of pension padding - double Dipping!!!
Because they want people to not notice Matters double dipping and pension padding- they make up something to try to divert the shower of criticism so righteously deserved by Mr. Um and Ah ! aka Rick Matters.
Let us also not forget the foolish incompetence displayed by Matters while he stumped for Dwight Jenkins and Cristo on the Fed-Ex project- delaying for months while he had absolutely NO CREDIBLE REASON to not vote in favor of the project. I almost fell out of my seat when he was asked specific questions by members of the planning board and others exactly what he was hedging on, and he could not answer any of those questions intelligently. Cristo is a proven LOSER as well as his girlfriend Taylor. Why Matters would ever trust them for any reason at all is beyond logical thinking.

  25. What about Rick Matters the staller of deals to get rid of the Bruen rescue truck. There are now currently THREE-(3) interested and "check in hand" buyers , but screwball is stalling again ! EXPLAIN YOURSELF MATTERS!!!

JUST A QUICK NOTE OF THANKS TO RICK MCCABE AND THE BOARD FOR RUNNING THE TOWN AND GOING FORWARD EVEN THOUGH THAT LITTLE SPAGHETTI VENDOR AND HIS WOMAN OLIVE OYL ARE DOING EVERYTHING TO SCREW IT UP! MY FAMOUS LAST WORDS FOR DON JOHNSON,HAL BETTERS,SEAN MULVEY AND YOU OTHER ANGRY PEOPLE - MOVE AWAY ! GO BITCH AT SOME OTHER TOWN OFFICIALS SOMEWHERE IN SOME OTHER TOWN- WE ARE HAPPY HERE AND WE WOULD ALL BE BETTER OFF WITHOUT YOUR CONSTANT B-S ! I AM RETIRED AND PROUD TO TELL PEOPLE THAT I HAVE LIVED IN EAST GREENBUSH FOR 45 YEARS AND I PAY MY TAXES WITH A SMILE BECAUSE OTHER TOWNS AROUND US DO NOT HAVE WHAT WE HAVE. I THANK THE BOARD FOR KEEPING THEIR HEADS HIGH AND DOING THE BUSINESS OF THE TOWN WITHOUT STOPPING TO LISTEN TO THE CRAP FROM THE REFORM PARTY FEW.

  27. "Irish Mafia" ring a bell?? or did you conveinently forget?

    ReplyDelete
  28. They are clearly running out of topics and it shows as they continually make up things to complain about. Without exception, Taylor is still angry and very bitter about being beaten twice in Town elections.
    My solution; run again !
Try once more to buffalo the voters in EG into thinking you have a clue what your talking about! Try once more to lull poeple into thinking you have the solution to all the financial burdens that face the Town, State and Nation.
    Good Luck with that !
She resorts to attacking a well functioning Board with fabricated stories and skewed and senseless tidbits of trivia to attempt to raise some ire in someone or some group. As has been said so many times in the past - THANKS FOR THE VOTES ANN! You make the Dems look good !!
Keep trying though- all you have is time on your hands!

  29. Don't sweat what Ann Taylor says or thinks because a) no one listens to her, b) no one likes her, and c) she is an adulterous political failure who has been fired from many jobs.

  30. If they want to wallow in the gutter, fine. Let's not stoop or squat to their level.
Remember, they preach to five or ten followers.

Let them deal in fear and hate. They are tea party folks, err, reform party, err, kool aid kids, err, whatever they are today, right? That's their stock and trade. Fear! Hate! Not ideas!
