Public Notice: Special Meeting **CANCELLED**
UPDATE ** September 1, 2015 ** this meeting has been cancelled due to illness ** Notice is hereby given that the East Greenbush Town Board will be convening on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 7:00PM at the East Greenbush Town Hall, 225 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, New York 12144 for the purpose of holding a Public Information Session to question the Comptroller about the Town's finances. No resolutions have been presented at this time.

You can't make this stuff up. Who is sick? Do we need the Health Department to look into this? Our Town has an extraordinary amount of meeting induced illness. It is like an epidemic dating back to Keith's sporatic meeting illness during the casino mess

ReplyDeleteA joke is what it is. This adminitration is the most devious and dysfunctional ever. Langley told the comptroller to find reason to not attend the meeting, so he said he was sick, after working all day. How did that feel Deb & MAM? Your comptroller just gave you the big Eff U, on Langley's orders.

ReplyDeleteYes, meeting avoidance syndrome (MAS) comes on quickly and leaves the same way. For example, Councilperson Matters had MAS on the night the police contract was to be presented for her benefit but the very next night she was well enough to vote against it.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you all assuming someone was sick? The town website only says it was cancelled, the cancelation notice never said that, just that it was canceled by orders from tye Town Board.
ReplyDeleteThe above notice was pasted from the Town's web site ver batim. The Town likely changed the title when someone realized how foolhardy it was.
ReplyDeleteNote that neither the neither the meeting notice nor the cancellation now appear.
Thank you for clarifying, town hall has become an embarrassment. Langley embarrassed us (all of the time) when he stated he couldn't make the public comment period for the casino because he was "sick". So were half the people in the room! The gaming commission knew we were a joke. It's obviously not fair to the residents, nor the workers who actually work.
DeleteInteresting article in this weeks Advertiser from the East Greenbush Republican Party Leader, Chairman Fiacco. He doesn't leave any question on his position regarding Mr. Poorman's arrogant attempt at a power grab in our fare town.
ReplyDeleteJust read the article myself, how pathetically sad is it when others are writing to the advertiser to plea on your behalf. Face it Mr. Supervisor you are done in this town, we gave you your chance already & you blew it. Dan Fiacco's ridiculous attempt to try to convince us of an outstanding record Langley has 1st is a lie & 2nd the "Republican committee overwhelmingly voted to endorse Keith Langley" is absolute BS they voted NO for the endorsement the first time around & when voted on again Dan stacked the Committee with people like the Suzanne & John Angelo which Sue hold a (2) Town positions & John was promised a job also members who previous voted NO were not @ the 2nd voting. You Dan are not fooling anyone same as Gilbert's & Meghan's letter. Lastly in this letter it states that Lanlgey got nothing but praise from 2 board members & that everything changed shortly after Poorman was involved, ANOTHER LIE LANGLEY LOST THE SUPPORT FROM THESE TWO WOMEN HIMSELF WITH THE LIES & DECEIT THAT SPEWS FROM HIS MOUTH ON A DAILY BASIS.
