Public Notice: Special Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the East Greenbush Town Board will be convening on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 7:00PM at the East Greenbush Town Hall, 225 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, New York 12144 for the purpose of holding a Public Information Session to question the Comptroller about the Town's finances.  No resolutions have been presented at this time.

    Will the Comptroller be verifying Supervisor Langley's claims that EG is doing better financially these days? That's the million-dollar question from where I sit.

    It seams to me that Supervisor Langley has been looking around for someone to do his work for 3 1/2 years. Enough already. George Phillips is a nice man in an impossible position but I don't think he is a liar We may get some interesting information at this meeting but, until we get a new supervisor nothing will get fixed.
