Were you able to read all 3 sentences...it said "by mutual agreement"..that's probably all you need to know. If not - go to a person - not a blog.

  7. Dear Mr. Mom:

The Ethics Board serves at the pleasure of the Town Board. What would the Ethics Board do if the Town Board cancelled? Hold the public hearing on their own?

You can't smell political double speak when it is right in front of you?

  8. 7:16 I'm glad the rest of the world isn't as cynical as you are. Isn't it time to head South for the Winter?

  9. The Ethics Board is completely capable of holding that hearing without the Board. "It was by mutual agreement" Was that part printed in French or Italian - because apparently you couldn't read it!

  10. The Hearing, By Board Resolution is an official Town Activity governed by law. 9:54...just another example of deciding that 'what we all get together and mumble about' is actually lawful activity. This town needs a competent lawyer.

  11. Says you - but we all know how slanted your versions of the law are....

  12. Anon...Say what you will. This is not a real question and answer forum. Do you not have the guts to talk to a person face to face to get an answer to your questions? This is more for pondering and letting off steam.

  14. Might call it the DiNapoli syndrome. The total politicization of a control function.

  16. I guess some folks just can't understand that I love this Town and want to help the Dems make it even better.

Some folks been saying I want to be Comptroller for more than a year.

Guess what ... Jim Breig is Comptroller and doing a fine job as far as I'm concerned!

  21. Hi Don,

May I respectfully suggest that you raise your question about the status of the 2010 AUD and Audit to those in the position to answer ... the Town Board at Wednesday's meeting or the Town Comptroller on Monday.

If you do either, please be sure to share what you've learned.
